Right after he requested his release from WWE, and was granted it, Shawn Spears wrote on his Twitter: “Future AEW Superstar”. He will now have to change this sentence to “AEW Superstar” as The Perfect Ten officially signed with All Elite Wrestling, as announced today.

Spears made his AEW debut at the recent Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, in the Casino Battle Royale that took place during the “Buy In” pre-show. He entered at #9 and was eliminated by the #10 entrant, Dustin Thomas.

A few days before the event, when Spears was announced as one of the participants of the Casino Battle Royale, he stated: “I’m coming to AEW because I believe in what they are doing. I believe in providing an alternative for fans, and I really believe that the audience has wanted an alternative for quite some time. This is now the platform to give people exactly what they want, and I am really looking forward to proving myself in AEW.”

In the second episode of The Road to Fyter Fest, Brandi Rhodes announced a triple threat women’s match for AEW Fyter Fest, Yuka Sakazaki vs. Riho vs. Nyla Rose. She noted while Riho and Sakazaki have a craftiness and resilience to them, Rose is a force they will have to “survive.” On Twitter, Brandi also noted this is “a” women’s match for the event, not “the,” so this match should not be the only women’s match at Fyter Fest.

About this event, Cody was asked why Fyter Fest will air for free on B/R Live. He explained he is thrilled that they get to do it for free. “That was such a huge discussion and I’m so excited. I mean, [you get Jon] Moxley’s first match in AEW for free. It’s great. The people at B/R Live, I couldn’t ask for better partners.”

He added: “You do need a subscription, but it is a free subscription. It’s not a hook in and you’re charged type of deal. You’ll need to, probably, if you’re looking to see Fyter, and it’s streaming for free here in the United States, you should go on the site before the actual event, get yourself signed up so you’ve got all your ducks in a row and you’re ready to go.”

If Fyter Fest will be for free in the US, it might not be the case in all the countries. As of today, in the United Kingdom or France, B/R Live is not available. Even if the website occasionally streams events internationally, no words yet on if it will be the case for Fyter Fest.
