Fyter Fest has been an issue of choice here over the last few weeks, as news has never stopped flowing and the card has taken an interesting twist day after day. As we’re just hours away from it, it’s time to refresh everyone’s mind and tell even more things you really need to know about this event. After the success of Double Or Nothing, the first-ever All Elite Wrestling PPV, battle lines have been drawn in the sand with a stacked line-up at Fyter Fest.

What?

Fyter Fest will be the show of the debut as not only Jon Moxley will male his, but also Darby Allin, Private Party, Jebailey and Laredo Kid. Unlike many PPVs, most of the matches don’t come as a follow-up of Double or Nothing. Christopher Daniels and Cima will face off one on one, after squaring off in a 6-Man Tag match at Double or Nothing. Kenny Omega will team up with The Young Bucks against the Lucha Brothers, this time associated with Laredo Kid. The Four Way match is set to finish the rivalries that started during the Casino Battle Royale. The rest of the card is made to show what the AEW talents are made of.

Who?

Fyter Fest will kick things off with the “Buy In” preshow. With the winners advancing to ALL OUT for an opportunity at a first-round bye in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament, a three-way tag is booked with the Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor) vs. SoCal Uncensored (Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky) vs. Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy). And in a match with “Hardcore” stipulations, Alex Jebailey, the organizer for CEO, will step into an AEW ring to fight the very real threat that is Japanese pro wrestler Michael Nakazawa.

In his debut match with AEW, all eyes will be on the unhinged Jon Moxley as he squares off against the equally unpredictable “Badboy” Joey Janela. Moxley has a hunger to show the sport what he’s capable of now that he’s got the gloves off. Joey Janela seems undeterred and has a reputation for playing with fire.

Nick and Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks, along with “the Cleaner” Kenny Omega, will be throwing down with the Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero M and Fénix) and Laredo Kid. In the next chapter of Bucks and Lucha Bros saga, both teams have added their friends to the fight, with Omega joining his Elite partners, and current AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Laredo Kid aligning with the Lucha Bros.

The “American Nightmare” Cody will face off another competitor set to make his AEW debut, Darby Allin. When AEW EVP Cody proved at Double or Nothing he would stop at nothing to begin this new era and see his vision materialize, Daredevil Darby Allin, on the other hand, sees this as the perfect moment to capitalize with the maximum amount of exposure on a major league level.

AEW EVP Nick Jackson booked a Four-Way match with “Hangman” Adam Page, Jungle Boy, Jimmy Havoc, and MJF, picking things up right where they left them during the Double or Nothing Casino Battle Royale.

After battling in a six-man tag at Double or Nothing, the “Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels and veteran CIMA (current president of Oriental Wrestling Entertainment) will compete in singles action. The two men have a long history and are very familiar with one another’s seemingly endless repertoire.

The main card will also feature female competition, with Yuka Sakazaki vs. Riho vs. Nyla Rose in a triple threat match. Riho and her team had their hands raised at Double or Nothing, but Sakazaki and Rose are also looking to get a taste of their first victory in an AEW match.
