Two of the wrestlers at AEW’s Fight for the Fallen event have suffered injuries during their matches. The news was broken on Twitter via the wrestlers and other companies they were meant to appear for.

Going by match order, we’ll start with Britt Baker, who suffered a concussion following her tag team match. She was teaming with Riho against the team of Bea Priestley and Shoko Nakajima. She finished the match but seemed visibly off during parts of it. She was helped away from the ring by Referee Aubrey Edwards, with Baker confirming Edwards took her to the hospital and checked up on her.
The second is Maxwell Jacob Friedman, aka MJF, who was taking part in a 6-Man match to open the main card. He was teaming with Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears to take on the team of Joey Janela, Darby Allin and Jimmy Havoc. At some point during the match, he suffered an elbow injury that has forced him to pull out of an Inspire Pro Wrestling Event. This was reported by their Twitter as he was their current Pure Prestige Champion. He has now vacated the title.
BREAKING NEWS: AS THE ADDAGE GOES, “CARD SUBJECT TO CHANGE.”

As of now, he is still scheduled to appear at Lucha Libre AAA’s Triplemania, as part of AEW partnership with the company. Other AEW wrestlers like Kenny Omega and Cody and The Young Bucks are set to wrestle as the card of the show revealed.
We wish both of them speedy and full recoveries.
