AEW seems to be a non-stop machine. At and after Fight for the Fallen, 3 matches for All Out have been set. In defeating Angélico & Jack Evans and Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy, Dark Order won the right to square off with Best Friends at All Out, with the winner receiving a first round bye in AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament.
After defeating SCU, Pentagon Jr. & Fénix brought out a ladder and challenged The Young Bucks to a ladder match. The Young Bucks defeated The Lucha Brothers at Double or Nothing when The Lucha Brothers defeated the Bucks in Mexico at a Lucha Libre AAA event.
In his media scrum after Fight For the Fallen, AEW President Tony Khan answered questions for nearly 30 minutes on a variety of topics. He said, “We’ve got a lot to do before All Out. But we’ve got time before All Out to build up the stories, build up the Chris Jericho-Hangman title match, build up Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley, and build up Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears, and build up more of the big matches we have planned.” Even if the company had to confirm it, Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears is on the All Out card. Spears vs. Rhodes was set in motion at Fyter Fest on June 29, when Spears smashed a steel chair into Rhodes’ head after his match against Darby Allin.
All Out will take place at the Sears Center in Chicago on August 31st, the same place they sold out with All In last year. Here’s the card, as of today.
- AEW World Championship Match: Chris Jericho vs. “Hangman” Adam Page
- Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley
- Ladder Match: The Young Bucks vs. Pentagon Jr. & Fénix
- Winner receives a first round bye in AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Match: Best Friends vs. The Dark Order
