In a world where the 3 Stooges are running the Blue brand, one lone soldier is standing still and decided to confront their authority. Kevin Owens decided to put his career on the line to shut up Shane McMahon, Elias and Drew McIntyre. Shane is set to give his reply tonight. On 205 Live, when Drake Maverick is not asking himself if the 24/7 title could destroy his marriage, Drew Gulak is reigning supreme and he will face tonight one of the hot fresh faces of NXT Breakout Tournament, Isaiah Scott. Tonight is Nygma time, so let’s not waste any more time and see what went down as we check out SmackDown Live and 205 Live.

Big SmackDown Live things happening this week:

  • Shane Mc Mahon accepted Kevin Owens‘ challenge. At SummerSlam, if Owens loses the match, he will have to quit the company. He also made Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns for later tonight, with him as the special ring announcer, Drew McIntyre as special guest referee and Elias as special guest timekeeper.
  • Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Apollo Crews. He attacked Crews after the match.
  • Mandy Rose secured a match for her and Sonya Deville and if they win that, they will get a WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles shot.

  • New video promo from Ali, who talks about re-writing his story and earning a WWE Title shot to become WWE Champion. Ali said only he will write his story.
  • The Miz welcomed Shawn Michaels on MizTV. Dolph Ziggler interrupted them, talked trash on Shawn. Michaels replied Ziggler can be embarrassed to be known as a second-rate Shawn Michaels wannabe. Miz got nervous, Ziggler attacked and hit a Sweet Chin music on Michaels.
  • Ember Moon defeated Charlotte Flair thanks to SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Bayley. Moon Eclipsed the 2 wrestlers after the match.

  • WWE Champion Kofi issued the challenge for SummerSlam to Randy Orton. Of course, he accepted.
  • Kofi defeated Samoa Joe via DQ when Orton interfered.
  • Finn Balor challenged Bray Wyatt to a match at SummerSlam. He will have to face the Fiend.

  • Charlotte Flair promised to be at SummerSlam to prove why she’s the greatest Superstar of all time.
  • Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens was, of course, a trap. The 3 Stooges interfered. Owens and Reigns teamed up to shut them down. Owens with a superkick to Drew, then Elias. Reigns with a Spear to Drew to send him out. Elias went down again. Shane looked to escape but Reigns brought him back into the ring for. Reigns with a Superman Punch to Shane, into a Stunner from Owens. Reigns and Owens stood tall as a “one more time!” chant started up. Owens delivered another Stunner to Shane.

We kicked off 205 Live with General Manager Drake Maverick cutting a promo on Mike Kanellis, stating that next week they are required to get out every bit of aggression on each other so both men can move on. He then told Kanellis that the match is unsanctioned.

Big 205 Live things happening this week:

  • Humberto Carrillo & Raul Mendoza defeated Lucha House Party.
  • The Singh Brothers were still mad at Brian Kendrick and Akira Tozawa for stealing their Academy Award. They called themselves the best tag team in the division and challenged Tozawa and Kendrick to a tag matchup next week.
  • Oney Lorcan defeated Tony Isner.
  • Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak said he’s been looking for a challenger, but no one in 205 was brave enough to accept his invitation. He then talked about Isaiah Scott, who he revealed he trained back in their EVOLVE days. He told Swerve that he admires his courage, but that he had a lot more to learn.
  • Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak defeated Isaiah “Swerve” Scott

The 2 shows were as hot as the weather outside. Things got tense on SmackDown Live. Kofi and Fin  Balor decided to challenge 2 hell of men (if we call The Fiend a man), Charlotte Flair wants to beat the best to prove she’s the best, Shinsuke Nakamura is turning nasty. And Kevin Owens teaming up with Roman Reigns was a pure delight to watch. The cherry on the cake, Xavier Woods and Big E, on commentary, were hilarious. Nothing bad to say about 205 Live. Drew Gulak has trained so many wrestlers he will have no issue finding a new opponent. His match against Swerve was awesome. Blue and Purple ruled this week, more than Red…
