All Elite Wrestling announced that the first-ever AEW Women’s World Title defence will take place during the third AEW on TNT episode, which airs live on Wednesday, October 16 from Philadelphia. The first-ever AEW Women’s World Champion will be crowned during the AEW on TNT premiere, on Wednesday, October 2 from Washington, DC.
A 21-woman Casino Battle Royale will take place at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view on August 31 near Chicago, with the winner earning a spot in that title match on TNT. As of today, Ivelisse, Teal Piper, Brandi Rhodes, Jazz, Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, Allie, Yuka Sakazaki are set to participate. The AEW Women’s World Championship will be unveiled at All Out.
The first AEW on TNT episode will air live from 8-10pm ET on Wednesday, October 2 (1 AM to 3 AM BST) from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. All Elite Wrestling announced last week the second and third AEW on TNT episodes will air live from Boston, MA and Philadelphia, PA. The Wednesday, October 9 episode will air live from the Agganis Arena in Boston. The October 16 episode will air live from the Liacouras Center at Temple University. Tickets for these shows will go on sale on August 16th at 5 pm BST here, with prices ranging between $20 and $90.
