After weeks and weeks of rumours and speculations, OWE United Kingdom and AEW have finally been able to reveal tonight the first team that will represent AEW in OWE UK’s inaugural Tag Team tournament will be. Neither of these competitors have had the chance to come to the UK before, they are some of the “fresh talents” AEW has decided to make its roster of. Marko Stunt and LuchaSaurus will face The Arrows of Hungary in the first round of the tournament on September 18 in London.

A second AEW team will be announced very soon, so the “mystery opponents” have yet to be revealed…

Marko Stunt made his debut in wrestling in 2015. He has worked mostly for indie wrestling promotions until he got noticed at GCW Joey Janela’s Lost In New York. Two weeks later, he was in All In “Zero Hour” pre-show, working the 15-Man “Over Budget Battle Royal”. Since then, he has worked for Joey Ryan’s BAR Wrestling, GCW and MLW. During WrestleMania week, he appeared at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 3, taking part of a gigantic Battle Royale.

Luchasaurus is tall, strong and wears a reptile mask to go to the ring. He made his debut with AEW at Double or Nothing in the “Buy In” 21-Man Casino Battle Royale. He lasted until the final three, before being eliminated by Adam Page. The company signed him just a few days after this performance. Alongside Jungle Boy, his tag team partner in OWE who he proudly holds on his shoulders, and Marko Stunt, they took part in a three-team tag match at Fight for the Fallen, against Dark Order and Jack Evans & Angelico.

Before that, Luchasaurus made his debut on the Californian indie scene before being signed by NXT where he spent 2 years. He was released in 2014 after a severe hip injury. After a hiatus, he came back on Lucha Underground, wearing a reptile mask, under the name of Vibora. In the Reptile Tribe run by Kobra Moon, he impressed the audience with his athletic style.

He has been a steady presence on the West Coast indie wrestling scene, working for Joey Ryan’s BAR Wrestling or Millenium Pro Wrestling. In 2018 and early 2019, he appeared in Ring of Honor. He also worked for Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore last June.
