Since Slammiversary, saying we are moving forward could be a little too much. Let’s say we make baby steps… With 4 PPVs a year, Impact Wrestling are allowed to take the time to build up some solid storylines and create strong characters. Some episodes may not the most thrilling ones, they contribute to making what will happen after accurate and coherent.
On the menu of Impact this week, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, some 6-Man action with Rob Van Dam teaming up with Rich Swann and Willie Mack against The Rascalz. Alexia Nicole will team up with Jordynne Grace to square off with Kiera Hogan and Madison Rayne. Moose will compete against Fallah Bahh. The Desi Hit Squad will fight in a Class vs Trash match. And Tommy Dreamer will come to help Tessa Blanchard in her quest to shut Sami Callihan and Dave Crist up. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…

The Nygma’s Chart of the Week
- Moose defeated Fallah Bahh. The ring nearly collapsed when Moose hit the superplex on Bahh.
- Tommy Dreamer met with Tessa, who said she didn’t need help. Tommy put her over and her legacy, and said he just wants to make the business better. He wanted to help because Tessa’s making a difference in this business. He wanted to stand with a great woman for the betterment of wrestling. Tessa agreed to fight with him.
- Su Yung was in the woods with a coffin and her Undead Bridesmaids. The coffin has the name Havok wrote across it.
- Madison Rayne & Kiera Hogan defeated Jordynne Grace & Alexia Nicole. Post-match, Rayne and Hogan beat down on Grace. The lights went out, and when they come back on, Rosemary was in the ring. She took down Rayne with a spear and drilled Hogan with a Butterfly Suplex.
- Alisha Edwards caught up with Ace Austin. He was feeling threatened by Eddie, and all he wanted was them to be friends, but he’s crazy. Alisha told Ace he should leave it to her to worry about Eddie. She went through a door and Austin executed a plan. He lied down on the floor. When Alisha returned, Eddie coincidentally showed up behind her. Of course, she assumed Eddie has beaten up Ace again and they started arguing. As Alisha turned her back to him, Austin openly mocked Eddie.
- Taya video package with John E. Bravo, mocking him.
- Michael Elgin and Rhino found each other outside the building and got into another brawl. When security showed up, Elgin smashed Rhino’s head off the side of a truck.
- RVD, Rich Swann, & Willie Mack defeated The Rascalz (Wentz, Trey & Dez).
- The North cut a promo about them taking out another tag team at Cali-Combat.
- Backstage, The Rascalz, Willie Mack & Rich Swann showed respect to each other until X Division Champion Jake Crist got in their way, announcing himself as “The Golden Draw”.
- The Deaners defeated The Desi Hit Squad (w/ Gama Singh) in a Losers Become Servants match. Desi Hit Squad are now forced to serve The Deaners in any way they see fit, which means they’re all, including Gama Singh, farming boys…
- The oVe Creepy Cam showed Callihan upset as Jake took Fulton out for some beef at Arby’s. Sami thinks Fulton belongs in a cage because he’s a monster. Sami promised to put down Dreamer and added that Tessa can never beat him.
- Tommy Dreamer & Tessa Blanchard defeated Sami Callihan & Dave Crist
The Nygma’s Nutcracker(s) of the Week
– Rob Van Dam, Rich Swann, & Willie Mack vs. The Rascalz
Trey and RVD began as RVD hit a kick. One for Wentz, Dez begged for one, but Mack tagged in and kicked him in the face. He followed with kicks and a leg drop. Swann tagged in and they picked up the pace as Swann hit a dropkick. Mack back in and double teams followed. Wentz tagged in and they isolated Swann with triple-team moves. Trey tagged in and followed with chops and strikes. Dez hit the senton Atomico, then one from Wentz and one from Trey. Swann followed with strikes but Trey cut him off. Triple teams connected on Swann, but he countered back and hit the cutter.
Swann made the tag to RVD and he strolled mildly with kicks on all three. The split-legged moonsault connected. Mack back in hit the Samoan Drop and a standing moonsault, followed by RVD’s rolling thunder. Swann back in unloaded a moonsault. RVD headed up top but Trey cut him off. They took out Mack and then double-teamed Swann with a meteora. The assisted push-sault missed, Trey hit a dive, Swann traded with Wentz, they landed head kicks and then continued to trade. Wentz was down and RVD hit the frog splash. Swann’s Phoenix splash gave his team the win.
– Tommy Dreamer & Tessa Blanchard vs. Sami Callihan & Dave Crist
They brawled at the bell with Dreamer and Tessa controlling early on. Dreamer hit an apron cannonball as Tessa flew off the top with a cannonball onto oVe. Post-break, they were brawling on the floor with Dreamer and Tessa still controlling. Back in, Sami begged off of Tessa, offered a handshake but Tessa attacked. Sami battled back, but Tessa sent Dave into Sami.
Tommy back in and double teams followed. Dave knocked Tessa to the floor as Sami took Dreamer to the floor. Dave now worked over Dreamer and rolled him back in. He grounded the action and then followed with strikes. Sami tagged back in and continued to isolate Dreamer. Dave was tagged back in and laid the boots to Dreamer. Sami followed with chops, but Dreamer fired back and dumped Sami. Sami pulled Tessa to the floor to stop the tag and they double-teamed Dreamer.
Dreamer fought back, tagged in Tessa and she ran to take control back. Dave fired back, but Tessa hit the codebreaker as Sami took out the referee. They all brawled, Dreamer and Tessa followed with DDTs but no referee. A new one arrived and counted 2. They teased piledrivers, but oVe hit some nutcrackers, which Tessa laughed at until Sami hit her with a kendo stick. Dave accidentally hit Sami, she fought back, headed up top and hits the Magnum with the kendo stick for the win.
The not-Nygma’s Moment(s) of the Week
So, Michael Elgin is brawling with Rhino? Wonderful, not-Nygma 60,000%…
The Desi Hit Squad lost. Good luck, there’s a lot to clean in the Deaners’ farm…
The Nygma’s Award of the Week
– Su Yung
Damn, I missed this cinematic orchestra… We say a picture worths a thousand words. Su Yung has no need to talk to be understood. She wants Havok… and she will have it…
Guess we won't be sleeping anytime soon…

– Rich Swann & Willie Mack
Even if they have been teaming up together on Impact since their debut, I suddenly realized tonight Mack and Swann’s chemistry could lead them right to the Impact World Tag Team Championships. They are the perfect match for it. They could also bring some fresh air to a Division that just lost its leaders.
– Tommy Dreamer
When Tommy Dreamer talks, you shut up, you listen and you agree. Whether you’re a wrestler or a fan, Dreamer knows what’s good for this business, because he has been the heart and soul of it for more than 30 years. His speeches are more than written words, they very often are testaments of how and where the business is going. Whether you like it or not, Tommy Dreamer is a Legend. Nygma said so…

To be eNYGMAtic…
Some good things, some very bad things, the show was solid but could have been way better. Like last week, storylines are advancing a good way, some characters are evolving. But it’s long and complex… The Road to Bound for Glory is made of 9 more weeks. Yes, it’s the same overall than last week, but I’m sorry if week after week I feel normal to sing the same old song…
Next week, Impact Special Events during TV time are back. The last one was Against All Odds in late March! Special Event means Special Treatment so The Nygma View will be back…
On this “Nygma is a Broken Record” note, until next week, never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
