As we get closer to OWE’s impending 5-day stint in the UK, we continue to learn more names being added to their packed roster. This newest announcement added another singles star into the fray as Rampage Brown will be competing. He will make his OWE UK debut on Day 3, in Liverpool on September 20. He will face Marius Al-Ani and Luchasaurus in a Three-Way Match.
Rampage has been a staple of the UK Wrestling scene for a long time now, being seen on World of Sport where he was a champion, in ICW as part of P.O.D and is also a former Defiant World Champion. He is currently still active all over the UK and is one of the trainers for the NGW academy in North East England.
Brown has also been contracted to WWE in the past and made appearances on Impact’s (formerly TNA) British Boot Camp. Not to mention he is coming in off the back of a five-star worthy match against Shuji Ishikawa at Wrestle Gate Pro. His powerhouse style should make him a fierce rival for anyone he steps in the ring with. Rampage lives up to his name as we could easily see him run rough shot over many of the talents appearing in this UK tour.
Luchasaurus is tall, strong and wears a reptile mask to go to the ring. He made his debut with AEW at Double or Nothing in the “Buy In” 21-Man Casino Battle Royale. He lasted until the final three, before being eliminated by Adam Page. The company signed him just a few days after this performance. Alongside Jungle Boy, his tag team partner in OWE who he proudly holds on his shoulders, and Marko Stunt, they took part in a three-team tag match at Fight for the Fallen, against Dark Order and Jack Evans & Angelico.
Before that, Luchasaurus made his debut on the Californian indie scene before being signed by NXT where he spent 2 years. He was released in 2014 after a severe hip injury. After a hiatus, he came back on Lucha Underground, wearing a reptile mask, under the name of Vibora. In the Reptile Tribe run by Kobra Moon, he impressed the audience with his athletic style.
He has been a steady presence on the West Coast indie wrestling scene, working for Joey Ryan’s BAR Wrestling or Millenium Pro Wrestling. In 2018 and early 2019, he appeared in Ring of Honor. He also worked for Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore last June.
The “Ninja” Marius Al-Ani is 28 and currently signed to Westside Xtreme Wrestling where he is a one-time wXw World Tag Team Champion with Absolute Andy. He also competed in MMA and grappling. Since 2009, he has wrestled in his own country for EWP, NEW, NFC and of course wXw but also in Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Austria and the UK. On wXw, with whom he has been working since 2014, he wrestled in the UK and USA. He is the second-longest wXw Shotgun Champion in the history of the company.
To reply to the many requests for multi-day tickets for both venues in the UK tour, OWE UK decided to create passes for the 2 London shows and 3 Liverpool shows. A 5-day pass for all OWE UK shows is also available. Passes holders will have the chance to attends some meet & greets. The tour will be taking place from September 18th-22nd.
