Two new debuts for OWE UK Day 3 have just been announced. Chris Ridgeway will face OWE’s China Rekka on September 30.

Rekka made his debut in a local wrestling promotion in Taiwan on January 23, 2003. He would spend there a couple of years before heading to Japan, where he was trained by Gurukun Mask. He would then compete in Gurukun Mask’s Ryukyu Dragon Pro Wrestling until 2016, before moving to DDT Pro-Wrestling. He would leave in 2018 to start a new career in the USA and Canada, where he competed for Rockstar Pro, Canadian Wrestling’s Elite, IWA and 3XW. The New Taiwan Entertainment Wrestling stalwart signed with OWE China on the very first days of 2019, stating it as a new start.

To quote RIPTIDE Wrestling, “One of the most notoriously hard-hitting and hotly-tipped athletes on the UK circuit, Chris Ridgeway send shockwaves across Brighton when he betrayed his friend Jack Sexsmith at RIPTIDE: Deep Six. Revealing himself as a mercenary for hire, Ridgeway and tough-as-nails Damon Moser formed the repugnant trio ‘Money vs Everybody’, funded and overseen by ‘The King of Strong and Stable Style’ Spike Trivet. Described as having a black belt in ‘being hard as fuck’, Ridgeway had proved to be a valuable commodity for his boss, clocking up impressive singles victories over the likes of Zack Sabre Jr, Millie McKenzie and David Starr. Shockingly, an unhinged Trivet ejected Ridgeway from Money vs Everybody in brutal fashion at the RIPTIDE Rumble after a rare showing of compassion for a fallen Cara Noir.”

His style is mixing wrestling to MMA, Muay Thai and Karate background. Since 2014, the Johnny Moss trainee has worked for SWE, TNT, ICW, Kamikaze Pro, PCW, Lucha Forever, IPW:UK, ATTACK!, HOPE, RevPro, FutureShock, PROGRESS, OTT, Defiant, to quote only a few of the UK promotions he has wrestled for. Since June 2019, he has taken part in NOAH Global Junior Tag League 2019, working with Hitoshi Kumano, Global Junior League and N-1 Victory tournaments. He stated on Twitter this NOAH bound was a life goal.

To reply to the many requests for multi-day tickets for both venues in the UK tour, OWE UK decided to create passes for the 2 London shows and 3 Liverpool shows. A 5-day pass for all OWE UK shows is also available. Passes holders will have the chance to attends some meet & greets. The tour will be taking place from September 18th-22nd.
