The Young Lions will be given another chance to shine as the Young Lion’s Cup will be making its return for the first time since 2017. It will take place along the Road to Destruction Tour leading to a final in Kobe on September 22nd.
The tour will run from September 4th to September 22nd and will feature eight Young Lions across three NJPWdojos, the NJPW Dojo, LA Dojo and the Fale Dojo. Each match will be 15 minutes long and will feature 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and nothing for a loss.
The Lion with the most points at the end of Kobe will be declared the winner of the tournament and will be given an excursion trip overseas. Previous winners have included Masahiro Chono, Ryusuke Taguchi and Hirooki Goto.

The Destruction Tour will also see Jay White try to dethrone Tetsuya Naito of his IC Title on September 22nd and the 35th Anniversary of Yuji Nagata at Blue Justice 9 on September 8th where there will be a ten-man tag match of legends vs Bullet Club.
