Just 2 weeks before Premiere show, AEW confirmed tonight their weekly TV show will be called All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite. It will air every Wednesday night on TNT at 8 PM ET (1 AM BST the next day). Here is the company’s official announcement.
Wednesday nights are going to get explosive as All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and TNT reveal the name and first official poster of their upcoming weekly show: ‘All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite’. As previously announced, starting Wednesday, October 2, AEW will begin airing live two-hour weekly matches on TNT at 8 p.m. ET. The highly-anticipated, action-packed matches will take place in different cities across the nation each week on Wednesdays, starting in Washington, D.C., at the famed Capital One Arena. Future matches announced so far will be held in Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, Pittsburgh PA, Charleston, WV, Charlotte NC, Nashville, TN, Indianapolis, IN and Chicago, IL.
AEW is giving fans a new wrestling experience for the first time in 20 years. AEW is about more than wrestling. It’s a movement fueled by fans, offering fun, gripping and authentic athletic matches every week. Founded by President and CEO Tony Khan, the league is headlined by Cody & Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Kenny Omega, Hangman Adam Page, Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley. The diverse roster of world-class competitors includes Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong, Dustin Rhodes, Jungle Boy, Dr. Britt Baker, MJF and SCU. AEW is poised to bring new innovation, new energy and a new spirit to wrestling.

TNT will air a two-hour Countdown to All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite preview special on Tuesday, October 1 at 8 PM ET. The big premiere will air the next night from 8 to 10 PM ET, live from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.
The current line-up for that show is:
- Jon Moxley appears live
- Cody Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara
- The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega vs. AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and two mystery partners
- Nyla Rose vs. Riho to crown the first-ever AEW Women’s Champion
- MJF vs. Brandon Cutler
If the name was pretty much expected, due to the recent trademark requests the company filed, what remains completely uncertain is if and how other countries will be able to watch the show. As of today, Dynamite is only set to air on TNT in the USA, no other announcement was made to make this new weekly wrestling moment a worldwide one.

In an interview, Cody revealed that a third hour of content could be filmed each week that won’t air on TNT, but rather B/R Live in the USA. Since the company plans on rotating talent on and off TNT each week, they want to make sure they are still keeping the wrestlers engaged with their audience. “We’re going to try and present quality over quantity,” Rhodes said.”Which means that some guys are going to have some time off. Which for the life and the well-being of a wrestler is a great thing to hear; that they’re not going to be, every week, putting themselves in a high-profile singles match. That, every week, they’re not going to be in a barn-burner tag. It’s going to be a very different show each week. We’re not going to try and cram everybody on the two-hour show. There’s no participation award here.”
