Southside Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling announced today MJF and Shawn Spears will take part of SWE final show on October 26, celebrating at the same time the company’s 9th anniversary. Cody and his wife Brandi Rhodes are also set to appear. Thank You & Goodnight will be SWE last show before the company closes down and the merging with Revolution Pro.

Two days ago, SWE was heartbroken because WWE was pulling all announced and unannounced talents to their final shows. Ligero, Kay Lee Ray, Joseph Conners, Xia Brookside, Saxon Huxley and Ilja Dragunov were quoted in the tweet.

At the same time, fans on social media were unhappy with AEW’s announcements on how to watch their weekly show in the UK on ITV and Fite TV. The idea of paying to watch live or waiting 3 days to watch it on ITV infuriated the wrestling fans. AEW Executive Vice-President Cody replied to SWE Twitter post and said he will see what he could do.

Cody broke the news today Shawn Spears and MJF would come to the rescue of the show. A few hours later, he also announced he and his wife Brandi would also be there. Of course, fans and SWE are relieved. Social media are now praising AEW’s attitude. Some could also see this move as a way for AEW to restore their image in the eyes of the British wrestling fans. In the end, SWE last show will take place and that’s probably all that matters.
