At ROH’s Death Before Dishonor, on Friday night, Angelina Love became the new Women of Honor Champion by defeating Kelly Klein and RUSH defeated Matt Taven to become the new ROH World Champion. While RUSH was celebrating his win with his brother Dragon Lee and his father La Bestia del Ring, Taven turned him around to shake his hand as a mark of respect. Matt Taven’s contract with ROH is coming to an end on October 1st, which let people think he was leaving the company.

Ultimo Dragon, 52, has wrestled in several promotions like NJPW, Pro Wrestling Noah, All Japan Pro Wrestling, CMLL, and UWA. He was also in WCW in the ’90s where he was a two-time WCW Cruiserweight Champion as well as a two-time WCW Television Champion. He’s also a former 2-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. He had a stint in WWE from 2003 to 2004 and won the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship during that time.

Dragon Gate are happy to announce that Ultimo Dragon has officially joined the company in a senior advisor role. In this…
