Major League Wrestling (MLW) today announced Trios tangle as Injustice (Myron Reed, Jordan Oliver, Kotto Brazil) vs. Septimo Dragon, Puma King and Gringo Loco for MLW: Saturday Night SuperFight on Saturday, November 2, live from Cicero Stadium on pay-per-view.

For months Gringo Loco has been quarrelling with Injustice and fighting the odds as the trio continuously remain a thorn in the Chicago native’s side. That all changes at SuperFight as Gringo Loco has recruited two compadres from Mexico in Septimo Dragon and Puma King. The 6wrestlers will now square off in what promises to be high octane, high-velocity trios encounter live on PPV.

In what will be the newly signed Septimo’s sophomore outing in MLW, the young aerialist looks to showcase his talents to the world on PPV. The frisky feline luchador Puma King, ever a mischievous and unorthodox luchador, adds an unpredictable element to Gringo’s team.

But are these compadres equipped for the shady rule-breaking methodology that has catapulted Injustice to stardom in MLW? Never afraid to use chains, brass knuckles or even a stolen shoe, Injustice is arrogantly unapologetic in their quest to use MLW to make a statement to the world. On Saturday, November 2, Injustice will have their opportunity to make such a statement… but will Gringo Loco and his compadres stomp out Injustice’s momentum?

The pay-per-view will be available on all major cable and satellite systems as well as digital pay-per-view on iN DEMAND, Vubiquity DIRECTV and DISH, it will be available to stream live worldwide and on-demand at Fite TV. You can pre-order at MLW.tv.

As supposed yesterday, the new WWE Now breaking news video confirmed WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins is officially out as the Team Captain for Team Hogan at WWE Crown Jewel, due to his Falls Count Anywhere match with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt that same night.

Also, the very last WWE Draft free agents, The Authors of Pain, have officially joined the RAW roster. It is said AOP had negotiations with USA Network and FOX officials, amid rumours of the two making their returns to the MMA world. They decided on signing with the Red brand instead.

Last night, it was announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling parent company Bushiroad purchased Stardom, the all-women Japanese promotion. Founded in 2010, the promotion has featured names like Io Shirai, Toni Storm, Bea Priestley, Hana Kimura, Kagetsu and Mayu Iwatani.

Stardom’s Twitter account commented, “Stardom has been acquired by Bushiroad. More details to come shortly! A press conference will be held today at 2 pm JST (1 am EST in the US) on the official Bushiroad YouTube channel, addressing the Stardom acquisition. The Stardom roster will be on stage.”

Starting December 1, 2019, the company name will be changed from Kix Road Co., Ltd. to Bushiroad Fight Co., Ltd. Hiroshi Ogawa will remain the CEO of Stardom, and while the name “Stardom” will be the same, World Wonder Ring Stardom will not exist. Both New Japan and Stardom should be run and kept completely separate from one another. Some sources said if there was a need by New Japan for women’s matches during foreign shows, something may be able to work out.

In regards to talent, Stardom women will be receiving full-time contracts. There are also plans to bring in wrestlers from all over the world. “We will create contracts with each wrestler,” Bushiroad stated. “We want to create an environment where the wrestlers can concentrate on pro wrestling, and we are expecting to bring in excellent wrestlers from all over the world. We would like to listen to the thoughts of each wrestler and take those thoughts into account when creating this new work environment.”

The opportunities for big shows were announced during the press conference as well. Stardom will run Korakuen Hall 14 times in 2020, with consecutive shows on August 8th and 9th. The first major show for the brand will be on April 29, 2020, inside Tokyo’s Ota Ward Gym. In 2021, there will be a 10th Anniversary show. While a future in the United States is unclear, Stardom will take part in “CharaExpo USA 2019” on December 7th and 8th inside the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. The featured bout for the promotion will be Mayu Iwatani and Tam Nakano v. Sumie Sakai and Nicole Savoy.
