Retrosoft Studios, LLC is pleased to announce that the National WrestlingAlliance (NWA) and their current World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis will be entering the RetroMania Wrestling arena when the game is released on PC, the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One early next year.

Since being established in 1948, the National Wrestling Alliance has remained one of the most recognized names in the entire professional wrestling industry. Retrosoft Studios LLC is pleased to announce the inclusion of this historic alliance and its rich history into the game, allowing fans all over the world to experience the NWA in a video game for the very first time.

With flashy 20 sprites, incredible backgrounds, and fast-paced arcade-style action that fans of professional wrestling and gamers all over the globe can enjoy, RetroMania Wrestling now welcomes Nick Aldis as the game’s latest roster addition. In addition, players will be able to dive into the game’s championship mode, titled “Ten Pounds of Gold” and compete in the National Wrestling Alliance’s arena for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

The representation of both the NWA and Nick Aldis brings even more of a classic feel to RetroMania Wrestling. The National Wrestling Alliance becomes the second professional wrestling promotion to be represented in the game, along with House of Hardcore. In addition, the inclusion of Nick Aldls sees the 17-year veteran joining an in-game roster that already includes the Road Warriors, Tommy Dreamer, Colt Cabana, the Blue World Order, Zack Sabre Jr. and Austin Idol.

Formed over 70 years ago, the National Wrestling Alliance has been one of the most recognized brands in the landscape of professional wrestling. The entire team at Retrosoft Studios is incredibly proud to announce that the NWA will be featured as one of the promotions in the game, with the game’s story mode now (and appropriately) being called “Ten Pounds of Gold.”

Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore isn’t the only professional wrestling promotion making its way to RetroMania Wrestling. The National Wrestling Alliance and the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Nick Aldis, will also be featured in the game. The addition of the NWA to RetroMania Wrestling sees Nick Aldis join the roster, three new arenas to battle in, and the “10 Pounds of Gold” mode. Compete against your opponents in the NWA 70 arena, the studio for NWA Powerrr, or at Austin Idol’s Universal Wrestling College!

Nick Aldis, the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion, previously wrestled for TNA Wrestling as Magnus, where he was a one-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and a two-time Tag Team Champion. As a veteran who hit the professional wrestling scene back in 2003, Aldis joins an in-game roster that already includes the Road Warriors, Tommy Dreamer, Colt Cabana, the Blue World Order, Zack Sabre Jr., and Austin Idol.
