MLW have announced that the Jimmy Havoc/Mance Warner slaughter train will continue as the duo are set to main event MLW: Zero Hour. The pair will be going one on one in a No Ropes Barbed Wire match, the first one MLW has promoted. Zero Hour will take place from the NYTEX Sports Centre in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area on Saturday, January 1, 2020.  Following the match announcement, the company had this to add:

Why a barbed wire match?

The answer can be tied Jimmy Havoc brutally attacking Mance Warner with a coil of barbed wire that ultimately put Warner in the hospital.  Since that time, the two men have fought and bled in and out of the ring including a Stairway to Hell match that saw Havoc once again bludgeon Mance with barbed wire. Now league officials look to contain both men by having them enter a ring to settle their feud once and for all in a match where the perimeter is wrapped in barbed wire.”

Following his previously reported comments on last night’s episode of NWA Power, Jim Cornette has resigned as a commentator for the company. His comments during a match between Nick Aldis and Trevor Murdoch caused outrage on social media, prompting the episode to be temporarily pulled and edited. In regards to Cornette’s comments, the NWA released this statement:

“Effective immediately: Jim Cornette has resigned from the National Wrestling Alliance. As an announcer on the November 19th edition of NWA Power, Jim made remarks during a singles match between Nick Aldis and Trevor Murdoch that were both offensive and do not meet the high standards of decency and good faith of the National Wrestling Alliance. To ensure that such an error can never happen again, we’ve established new procedures of review for all NWA programming going forward. We sincerely regret our failure in this regard.”

AEW have signed a new match for their Chicago based episode of Dynamite on the 27th November. it will be a rematch from All Out as PAC meets Kenny Omega one on one once again. Their last match was PAC’s debut for the company and saw him get the win over Omega.

It should also be noted that AEW will be taking its partnership with KultureCity one step further by featuring sensory bags at every Dynamite show going forward. This is a continuation of their pledge to be as inclusive as possible to all wrestling fans.
