The full card has been determined for Night One of Wrestle Kingdom 14. At the top of it are three already announced championship matches. Kazuchika Okada and Kota Ibushi collide for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in the night one main event. After some tense exchanges, the switch flipped in Kota Ibushi in Hiroshima at the World Tag League finals, as he levelled Kazuchika Okada with the right to challenge contract briefcase, and bodies did their best to vainly keep Ibushi from fighting with the champion all the way backstage.

In the semi-main event, IWGP Intercontinental Champion Jay White puts the title on the line against Tetsuya Naito. White believes he has nothing else to prove to El Ingobernable when it comes to the Intercontinental title, but he has to assert his superiority one more time on the grandest of stages if he is to steal Naito’s double gold ‘Destino’ and win the Double Gold Dash. The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship is at stake when Will Ospreay meets the returning Hiromu Takahashi. Firm friends make fierce rivals as the Aerial Assassin and the Time Bomb will push every limit there is to steal the show of shows on January 4.

Newly added to Wrestle Kingdom 14 night one, a ‘Texas Deathmatch’ for the IWGP United States Championship as Jon Moxley challenges Lance Archer. In Hiroshima at the World Tag League finals, Jon Moxley appeared to viciously attack Lance Archer, and lay claim to the US title he never lost after he was stripped for failing to appear for a scheduled defence in October. No rules will be in place when the Deathrider and the Murderhawk Monster meet in the brutal environment of the Tokyo Dome.

The IWGP Tag Team Championships are at stake when the Guerrillas of Destiny face World Tag League winners FinJuice. In Hiroshima on December 8, FinJuice scored World Tag League victory in a hard-fought and intense tag team war against EVIL and SANADA. The CHAOS team of YOSHI-HASHI, Toru Yano, Tomohiro Ishii and Hirooki Goto will meet Chase Owens, Yujiro Takahashi, Bad Luck Fale and KENTA of BULLET CLUB. Los Ingobernables De Japon will continue their long-standing war with Suzuki Gun as BUSHI, Shingo Takagi, EVIL & SANADA will face El Desperado, Taichi, Minoru Suzuki and Zack Sabre Junior.

The opening bout will be the first of two Jushin Thunder Liger retirement matches. An all-star cast of Liger’s partners and opponents meet in 8-man action when Tiger Mask, Great Sasuke, Tatsumi Fujinami and Liger himself take on Ryusuke Taguchi, Naoki Sano, Tatsuhito Takaiwa and Shinjiro Otani. El Samurai will be in Liger’s corner, Kuniaki Kobayashi in Sano’s and Norio Honaga will be the special guest referee.

Day 1 Complete Card:

* Kazuchika Okada (c) vs Kota Ibushi (IWGP Heavyweight Championship Match)
* Jay White (c) vs. Tetsuya Naito (IWGP Intercontinental Championship Match)
* Will Ospreay (c) vs. Hiromu Takahashi ( IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship Match)
* Lance Archer (c) vs. Jon Moxley (IWGP United States Championship Match)
* The Guerrillas of Destiny (c) vs. David Finlay and Juice Robinson (IWGP Tag Team Championship Match)
* YOSHI-HASHI, Toru Yano, Tomohiro Ishii, and Hirooki Goto vs. Chase Owens, Yujiro Takahashi, Bad Luck Fale, and KENTA
* BUSHI, Shingo Takagi, EVIL, and SANADA vs. El Desperado, Taichi, Minoru Suzuki and Zack Sabre Jr.
* Jushin Thunder Liger, Tatsumi Fujinami, The Great Sasuke, and Tiger Mask (with El Samurai) vs. Naoki Sano, Shinjiro Otani, Tatsuhito Takaiwa, and Ryusuke Taguchi (with Kuniaki Kobayashi)

The main event of Wrestle Kingdom 14 Night Two will see the culmination of the Double Gold Dash that has been a theme all the way through NJPW in 2019. Only one of Jay White, Tetsuya Naito, Kazuchika Okada and Kota Ibushi will emerge as the first IWGP Intercontinental and Heavyweight Champion, with the winners of January 4’s Intercontinental and Heavyweight Championship matches facing off in the biggest main event in Tokyo Dome history.

Already announced, the semi-main event sees the Ace meet the Painmaker as Hiroshi Tanahashi takes on Chris Jericho. Two global legends that truly deserve the title of ‘best in the world’ meet with the lights on bright, but in the birthplace of legend, it may be that only one man’s legacy will survive.

The two non-champions after January 4’s title matches will meet in a special singles match on January 5. With a new journey into 2020 beginning, an opportunity could still knock, and the winner of this singles bout could still leave the Tokyo Dome with valuable momentum.

The NEVER Openweight Championship will be at stake as KENTA faces Hirooki Goto. Ever since KENTA attacked Hirooki Goto’s best friend Katsuyori Shibata and joined BULLET CLUB, Goto has been trying to get to the NEVER Openweight Champion, and when KENTA interfered in Goto’s Intercontinental Championship challenge and again assaulted Shibata in Osaka on November 3, Goto started a path to vengeance. During the World Tag League, Goto pinned KENTA, but that wasn’t enough for the Fierce Warrior. Meanwhile, KENTA has time and again pushed his luck with bitter comments and brutal post-match attacks to Goto. Now he has reached the point of no return.

Juice Robinson will face the IWGP US Heavyweight Champion. The RevPro British Heavyweight Championship will be at stake with SANADA challenging Zack Sabre Junior. On November 3 at Power Struggle, and then again during the World Tag League, SANADA scored pinfall victories on Zack Sabre Junior, something that does not sit well with the British Submission Master at all. After the WTL finals in Hiroshima on December 8, Sabre attacked SANADA with a brutal armbar backstage, setting the scene for a title match that has gotten very personal indeed.

The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships will be on the line when SHO and YOH take on El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori. SHO & YOH won their third straight Super Junior Tag League in November by defeating the current champions en route to the final. After Roppongi 3K defeated El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru to lift the gold, however, ELP and Ishimori attacked SHO & YOH, making off with their tag league trophies.

The action will start on January 5 with Jushin Thunder Liger’s last ever wrestling match. After Liger’s first retirement match makes reference to his past, his second will have eyes to the future. Ryu Lee, formally known as Dragon Lee will form a dream team with long-time rival Hiromu Takahashi: 2 men who are redefining junior heavyweight wrestling in the new Reiwa era. They face in Liger and Naoki Sano, two former rivals who defined junior heavyweight wrestling in the old Heisei era; the era of Liger. Whether in victory or defeat, this is sure to be a matchup befitting of Liger’s last time competing in-ring.

Day 2 Complete Card:

* IWGP Champion vs. IWGP Intercontinental Champion (Title vs. Title Match)
* Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Chris Jericho
* Taiji Ishimori and El Phantasmo (c) vs. Roppongi 3K (IWGP Junior Tag Team Championship Match)
* Loser of Okada vs. Ibushi vs. Loser of White vs. Naito
* KENTA (c) vs. Hirooki Goto (NEVER Openweight Championship Match)
* Winner of the Lance Archer/Moxley Match (c) vs. Juice Robinson (IWGP United States Championship)
* Zack Sabre Jr (c) vs. SANADA (RevPro British Heavyweight Championship Match)
* Jushin Liger and Naoki Sano vs. Ryu Lee (Dragon Lee) and Hiromu Takahashi (Jushin Liger’s Retirement Match)

Wrestle Kingdom 14 will be on January 4 and January 5 at the Tokyo Dome. They will air live on NJPW World channel.
