Here are yesterday’s AEW Dark results.

• The show began with a vignette of The Young Bucks and how they made their way to the top team rankings. They will be facing SCU for the AEW World Tag Team Championships on AEW Dynamite.
• Tony Schiavone and Dasha Gonzalez welcomed fans to another edition of AEW Dark.
• SCU defeated Private Party.
• Lexy Nair recapped the women’s division matches from last week’s episode of Dynamite.
• Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. defeated Machiko.
• Kris Statlander defeated Bea Priestley. After the match, Statlander cut a promo saying that she is coming for Baker. She knows she will become the number one contender for the AEW Women’s Championship.
• TheHybrid2 & PAC defeated Best Friends & Orange Cassidy.

The first stage of the AAA and MLW collaboration will kick off January 11 in Dallas, Texas. Major League Wrestling today announced that AAA Lucha Libre will send 4 of their premier Luchadores: Aerostar, Drago, Puma King and Taurus to compete at MLW: Zero Hour at the NYTEX Sports Centre in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area on Saturday, January 11. The event will be a MLW FUSION TV taping for beIN SPORTS.

AAA co-founder Konnan, who has been at the forefront of the AAA-MLW collaborations, has confirmed that Mexico’s top promotion will be sending Aerostar, Drago, Puma King and Taurus to MLW for the league’s return to Dallas on January 11. AAA and MLW matchmakers are in active discussions on some specular bouts for Dallas. League matchmakers are working with AAA to finalize the Luchadores’ bouts, which should be revealed in the coming days.

A wrinkle in these talks? Salina de la Renta and Promociones Dorado. There are reports the Empresaria is tampering with deals and contracts. What does this mean? We’re not entirely sure but Salina seems committed to disrupting Konnan’s business.

• GRUDGE MATCH: Ross Von Erich vs. “Filthy” Tom Lawlor

Wrestle Kingdom 14 Day One will feature 8 matches with star wrestlers such as Jon Moxley, challenging for the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship in a Texas Deathmatch, as well as Hiromu Takahashi’s long-awaited return and challenge to IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay. It all culminates with two Main Events, as Jay White defends IWGP Intercontinental gold against Tetsuya Naito, and the IWGP Heavyweight Championship is at stake between Kazuchika Okada vs. Kota Ibushi.

Wrestle Kingdom 14 Day Two intensifies with 8 more events starting with Jushin Thunder Liger’s retirement match. The highly anticipated co-main event will pit Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Chris Jericho. If your heart can take the excitement, you’ll be rewarded with the Main Event, pitting the winners of January 4’s Intercontinental and Heavyweight title matches vying to determine the winner of the Double Gold Dash and first double IWGP champion.

There’s no better way to wrap the post-Wrestle Kingdom 14 exhilaration than with the NJPW New Year Dash show on January 6th. This event is traditionally filled with wrestling upsets and surprises, and as is the tradition, the event card will be revealed before the bell on the event day. AEW Revolution is already available for pre-order on Fite TV, 72 days before the PPV. The price announced for the PPV is $19,99. Revolution will be live on PPV on Saturday, February 29, at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT (1 AM GMT) from the Wintrust Arena in downtown Chicago. Revolution will be AEW’s fourth PPV offering, its first visit inside Chicago city limits, and its third visit back to the Midwestern wrestling hotbed.

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will be returning to WWE NXT in 2020. There’s no word yet on teams or dates for the 2020 Dusty Classic, but Mauro Ranallo noted on tonight’s show that details will be announced on the January 1 NXT TV episode.

The Dusty Classic began in 2015 with Finn Balor and Samoa Joe winning. The Authors of Pain won in 2016, The Undisputed Era won in 2018, and the team of Aleister Black and Ricochet won earlier this year.
