The Queen of the Impact Wrestling Kingdom is already in danger. Sami Callihan already threatened her to stalk her to regain the World Championship belt. All week long, if you follow social media, you saw he has sent some cryptic messages to tell her he will never too far away… Impact Wrestling is in Mexico the next weeks, does it mean the threat is behind her?
On the menu this week, from Mexico City, Mexico, Havok will face off Rosemary. Moose will compete against Rhino and AAA’s Taurus. We’ll also hear from Willie Mack, after his prowess at Hard To Kill, and World Champion Tessa Blanchard. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…
The Nygma’s Chart of the Week
- Tessa Blanchard opened the show, saying she is happy to be the Impact World Champion. She called out Sami Callihan but, instead, got the longest-reigning Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie. She bragged about beating Tessa for the Knockouts and AAA Reina de Reinas titles. The only person who makes history in this ring was Taya, and that (the Impact World title) was just a consolation prize. Tessa wanted Taya in a match, but they were interrupted by X-Division Champion Ace Austin. He made a sleazy comment, Tessa hit him, but the two Champions teamed up on her. Trey Miguel came out to make the save.
- Jimmy Jacobs interviewed Willie Mack after his loss at Hard to Kill. He built up his confidence against The North at Hard To Kill, and it looked like he could’ve pulled it off but it wasn’t to be. What’s next for him? He wanted to keep focusing on the tag titles. Johnny Swinger chimed in and offered to be his tag team partner. Willie refused and said he already has Swann, so Swinger walked off.
- Madison Rayne and Kiera Hogan confronted Taya Valkyrie about their promised tag team title match after they helped her in the past, but she was busy this week. So the Champion said they should face each other and the winner will get to face her next week.

- Taurus defeated Rhino and Moose.
- Jordynne Grace wants to be involved in Madison Rayne and Kiera Hogan’s match next week, seeing as she pinned the champion clean at Bash At The Brewery.
- Joey Ryan was summoned once again to Tommy Dreamer’s Wrestler’s Court, but he wanted none of it and walked away.

- Joey Ryan defeated AAA’s Máximo.
- Rob Van Dam, with Katie Forbes, told Gabby Loren he’s embarrassed to call himself a wrestler after seeing what he just saw in the ring. When you’re not stealing his moves, that’s what you get.
- Michael Elgin said people around here just like to talk to hear their own voice. When he talks, it’s a matter of fact. Truth is at Hard To Kill, Eddie Edwards tapped out. He walked around with that trophy, but he’s coming head-on and it’s far from over.

- Havok w/ James Mitchell and Susie defeated Rosemary. James Mitchell got a green mist to the face just before Havok got the victory.
- Gama Singh told Rohit Raju and Shera Raj Singh was sent away by Shera, seemingly without his permission. Raju laughed at Gama but got a slap for it.
- In The Rascalz Tree House, Dez and Wentz made fun of Trey for teaming up with a girl, but he told them Tessa’s the World Champion. They moved on from teasing him, with Wentz saying he got some special stuff from a guy in the street. Trey had to go get ready, so Dez and Wentz get high and went on a major league trip. So much that two AAA clowns showed up and freaked them out.

- Eddie Edwards responded to Elgin. Elgin arrived and stopped him as they argued to set up another match.
- Willie Mack defeated Rohit Raju. Shera attacked Willie Mack immediately after. Johnny Swinger came in to make the save but eventually got slammed down with a Sky High. Gama Singh punched him in the face as Shera held him. Desi Hit Squad stood tall over them.
- Taya Valkyrie & Ace Austin defeated Tessa Blanchard & Trey.

The Nygma’s Nutcracker(s) of the Week
– X-Division Champion Ace Austin & Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie w/ John E. Bravo vs World Champion Tessa Blanchard & Trey
Taya and Tessa began, they traded and Tessa hit a clothesline. Ace tagged in and Tessa grounded him until Ace escaped. Off the ropes and Trey tagged in, he and Ace worked into counters and Trey hit a dropkick. He followed with rights, hurricanrana by Trey and Tessa dumped Taya. Suicide dives by the faces followed. Post break, they hit double-team moves to Ace. Taya attacked Tessa and slammed her to the barricade and nailedTrey as Ace connected with a spin kick. Ace isolated Trey and worked him over in the corner and the suplex followed.

The backdrop suplex and the leg drop followed. Taya tagged in and maintained the heat on Trey and followed with the basement dropkick. Taya hit a knee strike. Ace tagged in, double teams followed and Ace laid in ground and pound. He followed with corner kicks, took him into the Tree of Woe and Ace choked him out as Taya hit the dropkick. Ace maintained control with another suplex. He kept Trey grounded, cut him with the laminated playing card but Trey countered back and hits a Papinade (remember, the French Pelé kick?).

Tessa tagged in but the referee didn’t see it as Bravo took the ref. Ace maintained control until Trey countered back with a basement dropkick. Tag to Tessa and Taya joined her. Tessa hit a high cross, a hurricanrana and a cutter. Tessa went up top, the Magnum missed as Ace tagged in. Tornado DDT by Tessa. Ace posted her and Trey fought on his own, Taya cut him off as he headed up top and Tessa attacked her. The suicide dive followed but Ace finished Trey with the Fold.

The not-Nygma’s Moment(s) of the Week
Nothing special to say, just asking myself when the Rosemary/Havok/Susie feud will end… And mostly how…
The Lollipop and Baby-Oil Nygmalicious Moment of The Week
He was kissed by a man and it will make everyone explode on social media. The very first dick flip took place in Japan a few years ago when Danshoku Dino tried to grope Ryan. The character of Maximo is not that far from Dino’s. Once again, you can take everything about Joey Ryan first degree and find it ugly. I chose to take it second or third-degree and to enjoy it.
The Nygma’s Awards of the Week
– World Championship Women War
I was telling you about this dilemma… About those female wrestlers who would have no problem to defend a title against a man, and the others. Taya Valkyrie has already wrestled big men, she would have no problem to be the World Champion. Now, what about the other women? And the other men? Let’s see what Sami Callihan is cooking…

– Rebellion
It’s official, Rebellion PPV will take place on the 19th of April. Don’t say now you didn’t know…
– AAA Luchadores
One of the best things in Impact coming to Mexico is the pleasure to watch AAA talents wrestle. This week, we saw Taurus and Maximo. Vikingo, Wagner Jr, Pagano and Murder Clown have been announced to compete. If you’re a fan of Lucha Libre style, you will obviously appreciate. The masks, the characters, all these things that are giving a unique look and style to the wrestlers are the essence of Lucha Libre.

To be eNYGMAtic…
Let’s say it was a slow start after a big PPV. The post-Hard to Kill chapter is just starting. Too many promos slashed the intensity of the action because good action there was. Episodes from Mexico are always special because they involve new wrestlers. Let’s say they are an exotic parenthesis with one of Impact Wrestling’s fellow partner, Lucha Libre AAA. Next week, things are getting hotter with the first of the 5 matches between Edwards and Elgin and the Clowns against The Rascalz. There’s nothing bad in taking a breath before jumping into something bigger, this week was one of those.
On this “Nygma Loves Parenthesis, But Enchanted Ones” note, until next week, never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
