NJPW’s The New Beginning in Osaka was always going to be explosive, and the show didn’t fail to disappoint. Taking place at the Osaka-jo Hall in Osaka, Japan, there were some great matches and moments filled with some high impact moves and brutal strikes, plenty of blood, and a surprise attack that had fans shocked. -Manabu Nakanishi, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima and Yuji Nagata defeated Togi Makabe, Tomoaki Honma, Toa Henare and Ryusuke Taguchi // Pinfall (Satoshi hit the lariat on Honma)

-IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship Match: SHO & YOH (c) defeated El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru // Pinfall (SHO & YOH hit Show X on Kanemaru)

-Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi, Juice Robinson and David Finlay defeated Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Yujiro Takahashi and Chase Owens // Pinfall (Tanahashi rolls up Loa)

-Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay defeated Taichi and Zack Sabre Jr. // Pinfall (Okada hit Rainmaker on Taichi)

-Jay White defeated SANADA // Pinfall (White hit Blade Runner)

-IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship Match: Hiromu Takahashi (c) defeated Ryu Lee // Pinfall (Takahashi hit Time Bomb)

-IWGP US Championship Match: Jon Moxley (c) defeated Minoru Suzuki // Pinfall (Moxley hit Death Rider)

After the match, Zack Sabre Jr attacked Moxley, applying a rear mounted stretch to knock out Mox, before posing with the US title.

-IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championship match: Tetsuya Naito defeated KENTA // Pinfall (Naito hit Destino)
