Matt Hardy just announced on the video below he is now a free agent. His WWE contract expired on March 1st and he decided to let it expire. He states WWE is his home and he loves the company but he needs some time off. He says his creative vision and WWE creative vision on his character went different ways.

He adds, “I want to enter a creative Renaissance,” and wants to go out there to find the perfect environment for it. He knows he will come back to WWE, maybe in a year or two.

He is decided to watch every show, from every company, but he doesn’t know where he will work in the future. He says he is excited about the future and mostly spend time at home. He quoted every possible promotion for a comeback.
