In February, NJPW announced that it would cancel their early March shows as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.  With Japan increasing their financial package to support their economy as well as continue the fight against the spread of infection across the country, NJPW today announced the remaining events of the New Japan Cup Tour are also cancelled.

The five events in question would take place between March 16 and March 21 and their cancellation comes after recommendations by the Japanese government taskforce. NJPW has announced, via their Twitter, alternative content to engage their fanbase, through the NJPW Together programme.
