Here is our daily update on the wrestling shows scheduled, postponed or cancelled around the world.
WWE
- Tonight’s WWE NXT live event in Venice, Florida has been cancelled like this Saturday event in Daytona Beach, FL has also been cancelled.
- Monday Night RAW, set to take place in Pittsburgh, will be live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL, without any audience, like SmackDown Live this Friday.
- FOX Sports announced today that they have made the decision to suspend production of their live FS1 studio shows, through at least Friday, March 20, including WWE Backstage.
- WWE NXT TV on the USA Network will continue to air from the WWE Performance Center, at least through April, as Full Sail University announced today that they are suspending classes and labs for students, and suspending group events on campus through the end of April.
- About WrestleMania, Hillsborough Commissioner Les Miller said that they would not make a decision yet and would reconvene next week if WWE does not act. “I’m hoping that Vince McMahon and WrestleMania and WWE make the call themselves, but a week from now if they’ve not done that and we’re still in the situation we’re in, we’ll probably have to pull the plug on that,” Miller said via Fox 13. Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said that he hopes that WWE cancel or postpone the event. “I don’t ever want to see people put profit over public safety, ” he said.
AEW
- Next week’s Dynamite episode from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville will open to a “restricted audience” of fans.
- The Dynamite episode scheduled for April 1 in Milwaukee, WI will be relocated. AEW will return to the UWM Panther Arena in Milwaukee on October 28 for Dynamite.
- The Dynamite episode scheduled for April 8 in St. Louis, MO will be relocated. AEW will return to St. Louis on October 7 for Dynamite at the Chaifetz Arena.
US and Canada indie shows
- GlamxOak’s show of the night in Hamilton was cancelled.
- DEFY Wrestling’s event The Defyant Ones on March 29 in Seattle is cancelled.
- BAR Wrestling decided to reschedule some of its events. March 26 show will take place on April 9, the April 8 show is still on, the April 9 one is rescheduled.
UK and Irish indie shows
- Kevin Owens was scheduled to appear on March 20 at Inside The Ropes’ One Night Only in Glasgow, the event is postponed to June 5.
- Reckless Intent Wrestling show tomorrow in Hamilton is cancelled.
- InOut Wrestling charity show on March 21 in Blackpool is cancelled.
