Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet just announced WWE has confirmed WrestleMania will no longer take place in Tampa Bay this year due to the coronavirus outbreak and will instead emanate from the Performance Center in Orlando.

Here is WWE statement:

In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.

It was announced earlier NXT would take place from the Performance Center with no attendance. FOX just confirmed this week’s WWE NXT, RAW and SmackDown episodes will all air from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

“This upcoming week will be another memorable week. We miss your presence, your signs, your chants and much more. We will get through this together and can’t wait for you to pack arenas/stadiums once again,’ state FOX.

Thursday’s WWE SmackDown live event from the Mobile Civic Center in Mobile, Alabama has also been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
