That first stream will be night one of The Acid Cup 2, a 16-person tournament being held behind closed doors. Night two will occur on the following night, Friday, March 20th. No location has been revealed to the event but due to the Coronavirus outbreak, no audience will be in attendance. Both nights will be streamed live on Indie Wrestling TV.
The first Acid Cup was held in 2016 as a tribute to Trent Acid, an indie icon who passed away in 2010. That tournament was won by Joey Janela who bested a who’s who of indie talents such as Laredo Kid, Pinkie Sanchez, and Teddy Hart to name a few.
There have been no names confirmed for the tournament so far but many GCW regulars (Jimmy Lloyd, Allie Kat, Matthew Justice, Blake Christian, and Ophidian) have been tagged in the announcement tweet so speculation can be made. The only confirmed talent is Joey Janela who will be providing commentary on both nights of the tournament.
I’ll be doing commentary for Both nights for all you watching our live @indiewrestling tv debut!

An Indiegogo campaign has been set up to help fund the event with all the money made going to the wrestlers involved. Donations will be accepted throughout both nights of the Cup too. Indie Wrestling TV is also offering a free trial for their service by using the code gamechanger.
