Which barriers to break? Impact Wrestling had to cancel all their March and April events, including Rebellion PPV. It was something to expect but nothing matters more than the safety of the fans. The TNA show is not cancelled on TV, I will be more than happy to review it for you next week. Then, no PPV and no tapings session mean possibly no more episodes after April 14 or 21. More than ever, the show must and will go on. When there’s no more live wrestling, there is still wrestling, on Impact Plus, on Impact Wrestling YouTube with full PPVs and matches to watch again (earlier this week, I personally enjoyed Davey Richards and Angelina Love vs Eddie and Alisha Edwards from Slammiversary XV, my first PPV as a reviewer here, and Lockdown 2005 PPV). Watch more wrestling, I will say it again and again. Don’t let wrestlers down. Don’t let yourself down, even if that’s what I have been doing (hard time to focus on writing)…
On the menu, this week, from Las Vegas, Nevada, Su Yung and Havok are back to The Undead Realm. Moose will face Chase Stevens, a TNA original. A new #1 contender for the X-Division title will be crowned as Rohit Raju, Willie Mack, Chris Bey, Acey Romero, Daga, Jake Crist, Cousin Jake and Trey will square off in an 8-Man match. Rhino and Sabu will face off Dave Crist and Madman Fulton. Also, Taya Valkyrie and Michael Elgin will team up against Impact World Champion Tessa Blanchard and Eddie Edwards. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…
The Nygma’s Chart of the Week
- Willie Mack defeated Chris Bey, Acey Romero, Daga, Rohit Raju, Jake Crist, Trey and Cousin Jake to become the new #1 contender for the X-Division Championship.
- Dave Crist was trying to pump Madman Fulton up. He wanted him and Fulton to end their losing streak tonight. Jake Crist ran in and said he’s concerned about Sami Callihan, and this “test” he had for oVe. Dave believed that Sami would never betray his family.
- Moose defeated Chase Stevens. Post-match, Moose tried to destroy Stevens with a chair. Scott D’Amore came out and warned Moose that another TNA veteran is coming for him. Suicide flew off the top rope and took Moose out.
- Rosemary was still hanging out with Taya and her friends in a bar. Rosemary told them her story, some random dude interrupted and upset her. It was Raven. He told her that two years is nothing and that it gets better the longer it goes on as he talks about Dreamer. They’ll be in wheelchairs together torturing each other. Rosemary disappeared.
- Ace Austin, along with Reno Scum, congratulated Willie Mack for his win earlier tonight. Mack didn’t it. He knew that Austin wasn’t that nice. He said he’s ready for his opportunity to win the X-Division Championship. Johnny Swinger came in and said he’s still disappointed that the Mack and Pack didn’t work out.
- Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe & Luster The Legend) defeated The Rascalz (Dez & Wentz).
- New vignette of Tenille Dashwood strolling in Vegas.
- #CancelCulture announced that they are challenging The Deaners to a match next week and that they’re going to cancel them. The Deaners responded by saying that there’s no way they’re going to be cancelled because everything they’ve ever watched was never cancelled. They ran through multiple TV shows that have been cancelled over time, classics like Gunsmoke, Alf and Happy Days. They mace jokes and Cody realized he needed to win next week.
- Sami Callihan made an appearance. He said that he has a plan, and that plan is to take out Ken Shamrock. He wanted the world to know that he sees everything. “I see you. I see EVERYTHING.”
- Rhino & Sabu (w/ Super Genie) defeated oVe (Dave Crist & Madman Fulton).
- In The Undead Realm, Su arrived with her rope and found Mitchell and Havok. He said she and Havok don’t play well together, so someone has to go and that means Su. Havok got a crowbar as Su has a machete. LOng fight until Su hit the mandible claw on Havok. Mitchell begged her to stop and told her she proved herself and he will be with her. He calls Havok a disgrace but said they are more trouble than they are worth and has his minions attack. He had them banished to the undead realm for good. We saw them appear in a desert, stuck in the barren wasteland.
- Michael Elgin & Taya w/ John E. Bravo defeated Tessa Blanchard & Eddie Edwards.
- Back to the Undead Realm, Rosemary appeared and says Father runs this place and she gets a free pass. He wouldn’t expect Rosemary to help them and if they trust her, she can undo what James did. They agreed and appeared back with Mitchell. He said they passed the test and earned his respect and can go forward together. Havok stabbed Mitchell, sending him to a strange heaven made of cats, puppies, Abyss, gorgeous women, as he asked himself who booked this shit.
The Nygma’s Nutcracker(s) of the Week
– Tessa Blanchard & Eddie Edwards vs Taya Valkyrie & Michael Elgin
Elgin and Edwards began, they worked into an exchange and Tessa tagged along with Taya. They worked into counters as Tessa hit a RANA. Taya countered with a spear and tagged in Elgin. Tessa attacked with strikes, attacked the knee but Elgin cut her off until Edwards tagged in. He picked up the pace, followed with a RANA and Taya kicked him, allowing Elgin to attack as Taya and Tessa brawled on the floor. Elgin followed with a pop-up powerslam. Post-break, Elgin was working the heat on Edwards. Taya tagged in and laid the boots to Edwards. Elgin tagged back in and traded with Edwards. They unloaded with chops and strikes, Edwards countered into the Blue Thunder Bomb and tagged in Tessa. Taya in as well and Tessa ran wild. The cutter followed.
It broke down, double knees by Taya to Tessa. Taya talked trash and Elgin joined in, double teams followed and Tessa countered the superbomb into a RANA. Edwards was down and couldn’t help so Tessa made her own comeback, Edwards was finally back and tagged in. He ran wild on Elgin with chops, suplexes until Taya cut him off. Tessa took her out, she and Edwards took out Bravo and followed with suicide dives. Back in, Elgin fired back on Edwards, until Tessa hit the draping codebreaker. Edwards hit the Tiger Driver and Taya barely made the save. Taya cut off Tessa, Edwards made the save but Elgin rushed them together and countered the magnum into a powerbomb on Tessa onto Edwards. Tessa countered into a poison RANA, brawled with Taya and Elgin hit a lariat on Tessa. Edwards and Elgin traded, the buckle bomb and the Elgin bomb finished it.
The not-Nygma’s Moment(s) of the Week
Can we just focus on the positive?

The Nygma’s Noticeable Facts of the Week
– The Mack
An 8-Man Match is a huge mess of action to describe I chose not to. This match proved 2 things, the X-Division is rock solid and stacked of very talented guys. It has always been Impact Wrestling flagship division, one of the reasons why we fell in love with the company. It’s still true. It has never been more true. Willie Mack won the Impact Wrestling One to Watch in 2020 Award winner. He was very close to becoming Tag Team Champion with Rich Swann, he is now on the right way to become X-Division Champion. He earns it because he is extremely talented, a cool character and the true Chocolate Thunder.
– Father James Mitchell
I don’t know “who booked this shit.” I just wish we haven’t seen the last of him with this week’s segment. Mitchell is such a character, the flagbearer of TNA/Impact Wrestling’s dark side. Then, Su, Havok and Rosemary are pretty dark to make his example live.
– The North
Josh Alexander and Ethan Page shocked the world when they defeated LAX last year at Bash at the Brewery. At 264 days (graphic was put online 2 days ago), in one reign, The North are now in Impact Wrestling’s history book as the longest-reigning tag team champions. To be honest, they have settled a new standard. Ethan and Josh are over talented, their chemistry in and out of the ring is undeniable. Then, when you look at the Impact team roster, you can really ask yourself who is going to dethrone them.
– TNA is back for one night only
See you next week after Impact for one hour of TNA. This special episode was meant to tease TNA: There’s No Place Like Home event on April 4. Even if postponed, there was no reason not to celebrate the glorious past of the company with talents like Hernandez, Johnny Swinger, Kid Kash, Chase Stevens, Rhino, commentator Dave Penzer, and Scott Steiner. Review, next week…

To be eNYGMAtic…
Still on no negativity mode this week. The episode was good, but not great. Some things are in the making, with the idea of a PPV coming up. The problem is the PPV is cancelled, the tapings following the PPV are cancelled. The future is like this desert in the Undead Realm segment, we move in the middle of nowhere, at least for the moment because even nowhere has an end. Impact Wrestling are Hard To Kill. Wrestling is Hard To Kill. We are Hard To Kill.
Like I said earlier, watch more wrestling, support the wrestlers. On this “Nygma Is Locked Home – Day 10” note, until next week, never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
