All Elite Wrestling officially announced the signing of Anna Jay. “The Star of the Show” made her AEW Dynamite debut last week in a match against Hikaru Shida. It would appear that Anna Jayy impressed officials in her hard-hitting match against Shida and the Georgia native is now officially All Elite.

Anna Jayy only began her wrestling career last year in 2019, when the native of St. Simons Island, Georgia began training at the 1 Fall Power Factory in Georgia under the guidance of former WCW Superstar Glacier and current AEW star QT Marshall. She’s become a regular feature with Georgia Premier Wrestling (GPW) since last fall. She’s also recently debuted with New Jersey’s Empower Wrestling as well. “The Star of the Show” Anna Jayy made her AEW debut on April 1 against Shida, in a match taped at QT Marshall’s school.

Shida, who defeated Jay on Dynamite, reacted on Twitter with a smiling sunglasses and fire emoji signalling her pleasure at Jay’s signing with AEW.

Cody Rhodes reacted to the signing as well with a quote saying, “hard times breed better men and women.” As AEW is going through a schedule change, Rhodes praised Jay for her performance in her match against Shida and congratulated her on signing with AEW.

Rhodes added in his tweet, “Anna Jay showed up and stepped up. Hung in there with an absolute killer like Shida! Congratulations.” Jay commenting on her signing on Instagram writing, “it’s showtime.”
