IWTV, the network with a catalog of some of the most important indie promotions in the United States, as well as other top tier indies from around the world, announced on Thursday they added Japan’s most brutal deathmatch company, Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS, to the network on June 1, 2020. Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS is the latest promotion to jump to IWTV, following recent partnerships with GCW, Sendai Girls, DEFY Wrestling, Combat Zone Wrestling, Absolute Intense Wrestling, and many more.
Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS was founded in 2009 by Takashi Sasaki, a deathmatch specialist who had been working for Big Japan Wrestling (BJW) since 2005 after spending the previous decade with DDT Pro. Over the years, FREEDOMS has become Japan’s premiere deathmatch company, forming an alliance with the US’ Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). FREEDOMS’ top stars include deathmatch legend Jun Kasai, Masashi Takeda, Toru Sugiura, and Daisuke Masaoka.
IWTV stated:
Japanese independent wrestling powerhouse FREEDOMS is coming to IWTV.
The promotion, which is known for its hard-hitting style and brutal deathmatches, will be releasing 15+ events from its 2019 catalogue starting Monday, June 1. The library features Japanese death match legends Jun Kasai and Masashi Takeda, plus Takashi Sasaki, Toru Sugiura, Ciclope, Miedo Extremo and more. You can watch FREEDOMS on June 1 with your IWTV subscription.
