Due to restrictions caused by the Coronavirus outbreak, NWA announced during last week’s episode of Powerrr that they would be unable to keep recording wrestling events and instead would premier their new show, Carnyland, on Tuesday, 19th May 2020.

When the premier started, no one quite understood what Carnyland would include, it turns out it is NWA new show filled with hilarious short interviews and promos from the full NWA roster. Each week, we will be able to see multiple NWA wrestlers hosting their own short comedy shows, such as Entice Zicky Dice, which was the real highlight of this week’s Carnyland show.

The new NWA World Television Champion Zicky Dice looked for love with an unsuspecting woman, who thought she was going to win a t-shirt. During this week’s Carnyland, we also saw Professor Storm’s history lesson, Nick Aldis sharing his true Carnyland story, a cliche promo from Carnyland College and much more.

Carnyland will not only be a once a week event though, as the NWA will be releasing content 5 days a week through their Youtube and the NWA will be releasing even more content on their Patreon. Which you can find here; https://www.patreon.com/carnyland

NWA released the following to describe what Carnyland actually is:

Carnyland is here! On last week’s NWAP owerrr, NWA President William Patrick Corgan announced the idea of #Carnyland. So what is it? That’s a great question that is not easily answered in one sentence, essay or even one video. More info here – https://www.nationalwrestlingalliance…

To the fans of #NWAPowerrr, we have asked one member of the roster to let you know from the beginning how much we miss doing the studio wrestling show. You’ll hear their authentic voice on how important each of you and how much we miss you. We read every one of your comments and can’t wait to read below as you watch this new show.

From that moment, you’ll enter #Carnyland and what you see will be just a first step into this new land we’re building. Like any new place, it will constantly be evolving based on its visitors, citizens and those who sit on the town council.

You will see some familiar faces from the National Wrestling Alliance in this new place. We will not over hype this moment, as our great NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis has said time and time again… under promise and over deliver.

Carnyland is not just one thing. And trust us, we’ve all been there… a lot.
