It would finally appear that deathmatch wrestling is returning to a live audience. At least that’s what ICW New York has announced as they present No Holds Barred: Vol 2 – Deathmatch Drive In.
As the name suggests, this is a drive-in all deathmatch wrestling show from Atlantic City New Jersey on June 27rh, with tickets costing $60 per car.
To keep within COVID regulations, the company has revealed that the event is limited to 50 cars in an outdoor space with audience members to remain in their cars unless it’s to use the restroom. All staff will be wearing masks and wrestlers, who are currently unannounced, having their health monitored throughout the build-up.
The company has also announced that refreshments will be available throughout the event and are hopeful that if this event goes off without a hitch, it may be the start of a summer-long series of events. No names have currently been given but SHLAK, Casanova Valentine, Chris Dickinson, and Eric Ryan have all been tagged in the tweet announcing the rules so let speculation reign.
