For the first time in the history of AEW, Double or Nothing was available last Saturday in 4 different languages on Fite TV, English, Spanish, German and French. This Monday, once again for the first time in the history of the company, the PPV will be available on French cable TV at 6.15 GMT on Toonami, that is already airing Dynamite every Tuesday nights, with the same announcers, Norbert Feuillan and Alain Mistrangélo.

The French language has always been a “classic” in wrestling history, the same way wrestling has always been a part of French sports culture. NJPW added the French language to some events on NJPW World last year, AEW and WWE are offering it for their PPVs.

When WWE PPVs are no longer available, live or not, on French TV, AEW are driving the point home when offering their latest PPV to a larger audience and for free. Currently, only WWE and AEW are available on French TV, the latest and most recent attempts from ROH or NJPW to be on French TV failed when the companies decided to stop airing their shows, despite an enthusiastic audience.
