In an effort to streamline our creative writing process for television, we have consolidated both teams from RAW and SmackDown into one group, led by Bruce Prichard. Paul Heyman will concentrate on his role as an in-ring performer.

Here is the WWE statement related to Paul Heyman no longer being in charge of RAW. The fact he will focus on his “in-ring performer” role could mean whether a comeback to commentary or his return as an in-ring manager. Some rumours are talking about Brock Lesnar coming back to WWE around SummerSlam but he could perfectly run the careers of many others wrestlers in WWE.

Heyman was named Executive Director of Monday Night RAW in June 2019 when Prichard was named Executive Director of Friday Night SmackDown in October 2019 when Eric Bischoff parted ways with the company. Heyman has always been an appreciated person backstage, giving advice and support to many wrestlers. Prichard has done a pretty good job on SmackDown as the ratings confirmed SmackDown has been doing better than Monday Night RAW week after week.

As a wrestling podcaster, booker, commentator, referee, ring announcer, manager, and producer, Bruce Prichard has been in the business for more than 30 years. He became WWE Senior Vice President of WWE and a member of their creative team earlier this year. As a manager, Prichard performed under the ring name Brother Love and served as the original manager of The Undertaker.
