According to TWM, the new All-Party Parliamentary Group for Wrestling that was set to be launched this week held its first meeting today. The group is co-chaired by Labour MP Alex Davies-Jones and Conservative MP Mark Fletcher. Danny Stone, Chief Executive of the Antisemitism Policy Trust, and Conservative MP Paul Birstow are among the ones expected to be involved.
APPGs are groups that seek support from MPs across all political parties to work on specific topics. This group is major progress for British wrestling and will come off the back of the #SpeakingOut movement, and the call for more regulation in British wrestling.
