On this week’s AEW Dynamite, it was announced a women’s tag tournament will happen this summer. The tournament is called the Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw and will feature eight teams. No word on the format of the tournament or what the winners will receive but the Nightmare Sisters (Brandi Rhodes and Allie) are already confirmed for the tournament.

AEW has confirmed that next Wednesday’s Dynamite episode on TNT will air live from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. AEW President & CEO Tony Khan tweeted that next week’s show will feature “one of the best Dynamite cards ever.” TNT Champion Cody Rhodes will defend his title against one of the “top independent wrestlers in the world” again next week, Eddie Kingston was revealed to be one of these wrestlers this week.
