Several profiles have been removed from AEW’s official roster page, which has been enough to fuel some rumours of releases. If Jimmy Havoc and Bea Priestley haven’t confirmed anything, as well as AEW, Sadie Gibbs Sadie took to social media to confirm her exit from the company.
Gibbs sent out a message on Instagram stating that this is not the end, but a new beginning. She was also asked by a fan if this meant she was released from AEW. Her reply was a sad affirmative reply, “Afraid so. Due to circumstances.” Gibbs didn’t describe what those “circumstances” were that led to her release. Gibbs signed with AEW in May 2019 and made her debut at All Out last year. She has not wrestled for the company since the October 30 AEW Dark tapings.
AEW noted then that they wished Havoc the best as he received treatment and counselling in an effort to overcome the mental health and substance abuse challenges in his life. His status with the company was supposed to be addressed following completion of rehab. Bea Priestley has been in the UK since the pandemic started. Havoc signed with AEW in February 2019 and debuted in the 2019 Double Or Nothing Pre-show Battle Royal on May 25 when Priestley also signed with AEW in February 2019 but debuted at Fight for the Fallen 2019.
At this time, the company has not publicly addressed these recent apparent departures.
Currently as for everybody it’s a difficult time. And I completely understand the the reasons behind the release. I’m grateful for the time I had I just wish I had more time to showcase my character. Everything will work out. I have my health. ??during this time that’s important
