Barry Scott, the “Voice” of TNA/Impact Wrestling, passed away today at 65. Earlier this year, Barry Scott appeared on IMPACT to give the personal introduction for TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose.
One of the best wrestling voice over actors ever, his voice told so many stories and made everything feel larger than life, as stated Sami Callihan in a tweet.
Barry Scott was adding something important to any match, character or storyline he was talking about, as Impact Wrestling EVP Scott D’Amore reminded.
For years, Barry was the iconic voice of TNA Wrestling, lending the company gravitas and credibility. In tribute, Impact Wrestling put online a number of the features Barry lent his incredible voice to.
