The next edition of NXT TakeOver will come crashing into your home on Sunday, October 4 at 7 ET/4 PT (midnight GMT) on the WWE Network. The event comes on the heels of a historic ‘NXT TakeOver XXX’ that saw Damian Priest win a gruelling North American Title Ladder Match, Io Shirai valiantly defend her NXT Women’s Title, and Karrion Kross bring Doomsday by capturing the NXT Championship. Since then, Kross’ injury opened the window for Finn Bálor to capture the NXT Title in an epic series of matches involving Adam Cole, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano.
In what has already been an exciting week for @WWENXT and @NXTUK, #WWENXT is getting ready to TAKE OVER Sunday, October 4th….
The road to #NXTTakeOver starts TONIGHT on @USA_Network at 8pm. #WeAreNXT https://t.co/feehuPmXIq

WWE today announced the date but did not confirm either the location or the name of the show. It will likely take place from the NXT Arena on the campus of Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. The 31st NXT TakeOver could possibly be the WarGames show, unless the stipulation is used for the supposed 32nd NXT TakeOver PPV, set to air on Sunday, December 6, so two weeks after Survivor Series.
