Which barriers to break? Staying safe when the situation requests it. If you’re so Bound For Glory, so the show will be without a crowd to cheer you or boo you. And you will be happy with that decision. Until that moment, the road is still going, you will taste the flames, be in hot water, burn your wings, dig your own hole. But in the end, you will always rise and keep walking until success is on your sight. Too much will never be enough.
On the menu this week, from Nashville, Tennessee, Kimber Lee will face off Susie. Rohit Raju will defend the X-Division Championship against the winner of a Triple Threat Match between Trey, Chris Bey and TJP. Jordynne Grace will square off with Tenille Dashwood. Sami Callihan will have to take care of both RVD and Katie Forbes as, if RVD wins, Katie Forbes will have 5 minutes with Sami. We’ll also hear about Rich Swann and Eric Young after last week’s announcement of the Impact World Championship match at Bound For Glory. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…

The Nygma’s Chart of the Week

Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne were on commentary.

  • Trey Miguel defeated TJP and Chris Bey to become the number one contender for the X-Division Championship.
  • Rohit Raju defeated Trey via roll-up in like 5 seconds to retain the X-Division title.
  • Impact World Champion, Eric Young, said he has his conscience clear, and he’s ready to face Rich Swann at Bound For Glory.
  • Backstage, Kaleb Konley with a K welcomed Gia Miller. Tenille Dashwood was busy but came to tell her she was ready for her match tonight.

  • Susie w/ Kylie Rae defeated Kimber Lee w/ Deonna Purrazzo. Purrazzo tried to interfere but Susie hit the Panic Switch for the win. Kylie Rae came to celebrate with her friend but Deonna Purrazzo attacked her from behind. Susie replied but got locked in the Fujiwara armbar. Kylie Rae saved her friend with a superkick right in the Champion’s face. Kylie Rae took the mic and challenged Purrazzo for the Knockouts title at Bound For Glory.
  • With the new money he stole to Hernandez last week, Heath did a video. He was begging Impact fans to continue their support by using #Heath4IMPACT on social media. He even had celebrities like Chuck Norris, Flavor Flav of Public Enemy, David Hasselhoff, Nancy Kerrigan, his good friend Rhino and his two daughters supporting his cause.

  • Backstage, The Good Brothers greeted the Motor City Machine Guns. The Good Brothers were trying to challenge MCMG before the Rascalz came in and broke up their conversation. The Rascalz informed Gallows and Anderson that they’ve hung with “big boys” like them and they’ve beaten them every time. The Good Brothers told the Rascalz to put their money where their mouths are and issued a match.
  • EC3 did a promo, he said he wants Moose’s legacy as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion to end. To do so, he broadcasted Moose’s personal number. He wanted fans to call and help him end Moose’s reign.

  • Backstage, Taya Valkyrie was extremely disappointed that Rosemary was not at her match again last week. Rosemary said that her wedding planning has taken over her free time. They made amends and vowed to help each other out from now on. Valkyrie did mention that she’s impressed that John E. Bravo has become his own man.
  • Backstage, John E. Bravo grouped up Cousin Jake, Alisha Edwards, Crazzy Steve, Fallah Bahh and Johnny Swinger for their help with his wedding. Johnny Swinger was not happy that Fallah Bahh is the best man. He believed he should be. Tommy Dreamer peaked his head out and yelled “match time.” Bravo told him no, it was not.

  • Backstage, Gia Miller wanted to give Brian Myers thoughts on his match with Willie Mack last week, especially his loss. Myers got extremely angry with her question that he threw a table over. Tommy Dreamer confronted Myers about his anger and told him to clean up his mess.
  • Cody Deaner was making his way to the ring when Eric Young attacked him. Young smashed Cody’s face over and over on the guardrails. They both stepped into the ring. Young hit the piledriver. Cousin Jake ran down to the ring to help Cody out. Young sends Cousin Jake out with another piledriver. Young has a wicked smile on his face. Mathews said if we should get something out of this, it’s that Young will stop at nothing to get his message across to Rich Swann. Young grabbed a microphone and warned Rich Swann and Scott D’Amore that whatever he does to anyone up until Bound For Glory, it’s all on them. Security came out to break up Young and Cousin Jake after Young tried to break Jake’s ankle, but they didn’t get too far. Scott D’Amore ran out and asked what he’s doing. Young shouted at him “it’s all on you.” When Young cornered D’Amore, Eddie Edwards ran down to the ring and sent Young out on the ramp.

  • Backstage, Edwards confronted D’Amore on what he’s doing and why he’s putting Swann in the main event match.  Eddie Edwards requested a rematch against Eric Young. Scott D’Amore gave him at Victory Road on October 3 exclusively on Impact Plus. Edwards promised he’ll finish him.
  • Rob Van Dam defeated Sami Callihan, thanks to Forbes interfering when blinding Callihan with her hairspray. Katie Forbes was allowed to have five minutes with Callihan. Katie Forbes connected with a running hip strike. Callihan tried to connect his Cactus Special but RVD got involved again. Callihan sent RVD out of his way, momentarily, with a lethal DDT. After getting himself back up, RVD brought in a steel chair, but Callihan threw the chair towards RVD’s head. Callihan connected with the Cactus Special on Forbes for the win.

  • Backstage, Ace Austin and Madman Fulton told Gia Miller they are ready for a shot at the Tag Team Championship since they believe they’re next in line for it. The North interrupted them and said they better get in line behind them. In order to back up their position, Fulton and Austin will face The North next week.
  • Tenille Dashwood w/ Kaleb, with a K, Konley defeated Jordynne Grace, thanks to Kaleb distracting the referee. Tenille celebrated and posed for Kaleb, with a K.
  • Eddie Edwards was attacked as he was leaving the building. Was it by Eric Young?

The Nygma’s Nutcracker(s) of the Week

– TJP vs Trey Miguel vs Chris Bey

Rohit Raju was at ringside to watch the action, in a good mood as Raju was defending immediately after this match. Bey attacked Trey to start off the match with stomps in the corner, TJP got involved and whipped Bey. Bey reversed and slammed TJP to the mat. TJP went into the ropes and kicked Bey, Bey missed a clothesline and got taken down by a hurricanrana. TJP connected with a hurricanrana too, then grabbed Bey for a back suplex but Bey flipped out and hit an arm drag. TJPwent out of the ring and Bey whipped Trey across the ring, hit a baseball slide. They ran the ring and Trey locked a full nelson, Bey got out but Trey hit a snapmare and a standing moonsault. TJP was back in now with a European uppercut to Trey, the Irish whip was reversed, TJP locked him in an Octopus.

Trey slipped out. Bey hit an uppercut, Trey replied with an Irish whip reversed by Bey into a short arm knee lift. TJP went into Bey’s knee, Trey got involved but Bey connected with a DDT and a Downward Spiral to both men. Trey was thrown out of the ring, Bey charged in and hit a leaping back elbow, a kick to the back of the head and a leaping neckbreaker. Raju was looking pleased as Bey sent TJP across the ring, he slid under and went for a submission. Trey ran in and got knocked down. TJP locked Trey in a Sharpshooter on Trey with a camel clutch to Bey. The double submission got broken up but he locked in an inverted STF on Trey which Bey broke up. Bey connected with a shot to Trey, who fired back and he laid into Bey. A kick attempt was caught by Bey, but Trey connected with an enzuigiri.

TJP was back in as both men were down. TJP connected with an inverted atomic drop on Bey and came off the ropes with a springboard clothesline. He hit The Three Amigos snap suplex. TJP went up top but Trey ran in and jumped up. He got shoved off and backflipped over Bey, TJP leapt and rolled. Trey hit an hurricanrana, Bey charged in but missed and got tripped by Trey. Trey flipped over Bey, who was now on the apron. TJP hit a back elbow, Trey from off the top connected with a stomp to Bey and a neckbreaker to Trey. Trey went on top, ready to fly, but TJP missed and Bey hit a cutter. Bey then connected with a big kick to TJP’s head, he hit a springboard but got caught by TJP. Cross arm breaker, Bey rolled it up but TJP turned it into a leglock. Bey was in the centre of the ring but Trey went up top and he hits a Meteora to TJP for the win.

The Weekly “Enigma(s) For a Nygma”

Not to discredit Tenille Dashwood’s abilities to wrestle, Jordynne Grace is one hell of a woman and, despite some doubtful moments, like the Michinoku Driver, Tenille really had control of almost all the match. Of course, Tenille needed a win for her return when Grace recently lost the Knockouts title and could probably afford this loss. Also, there’s the K effect… With Kaleb with a K on her side, Tenille Dashwood has put a major asset in her game when it comes to winning.

The Nygma’s Noticeable Facts of the Week

– Hire Heath… Please…

This video was phenomenal. It’s Presidential time in the USA and yesterday, Heath just did the best vote promotional video ever. Reuniting Chuck Norris, David Hasselhoff, former figure ice-skater Nancy Kerrigan, the master of the clocks and Public Enemy’s own Flavour Flav, D’Lo “DeLorean” Brown, Rhino and his two beautiful daughters in a video, that was as funny as great. Even Dog The Bounty Hunter joined the movement since. After such a masterpiece, how couldn’t be convinced that Heath has to be signed by Impact Wrestling?

– The Moose case continues…

In France, it’s a game two actors have played for a long time. One giving the cellphone number of the other, the other giving the phone number of the one… I don’t know if it was Moose’s real phone number, but EC3 stroke hard once again. Week after week, EC3 has been doing everything he could to insinuate himself into Moose’s mind, targeting his friends, his life, the title belt. This storyline is just dope.

Bound For Glory – Impact Knockouts Championship Match: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs Kylie Rae

This match is not a surprise in itself as Kylie Rae earned the right to challenge the Knockouts Champion when she won the Gauntlet For The Gold match at Slammiversary. But I love the way they let the things put themselves together… Kylie seems not to be aware of her best friend turning into her enemy. If Susie is all sweet, the Su Yung in herself is ready to reappear. And Su doesn’t have friends, excepted her army of Bridemaids zombies… It will be a very interesting match, with nice opposition of styles and many question marks from Susie’s side.

To be eNYGMAtic…

From an episode flooded with promos and unequal action, surprisingly, Impact Wrestling have been able to make something coherent of this episode. If the EY assault was not easy to watch and Callihan vs RVD not a great match, the Heath and EC3 segments prevented me from falling asleep (remember, in France, Impact is from 2 AM to 4 AM).
We are 4 weeks away from Bound For Glory and this episode shows we have plenty of build toward it. The possibilities are almost infinite. Each episode can’t be perfect, that’s a fact, but the PPV will have to be. With all the momentum the company has recently gained, they just can’t make as if people will not be watching and scrutinizing what is going to happen. No wrong note possible…
On this “Nygma Says #Heath4IMPACT” note, take care, stay safe, watch wrestling, until next week, never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
