Which barriers to break? If you’re so Bound For Glory, you had to take the Victory Road. You had to show that your passion, your dedication and your talent are your winning cards. If you failed, ask yourself what was missing in your game. Was it heart, was it luck, was it hate, was it yourself? The answer is nowhere else but inside of you. So dig, deep down. Too much has never been enough.
On the menu this week, from Nashville, Tennessee, The MCMG will face off Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie will team up against Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan. In rematches of Victory Road, Tommy Dreamer will compete against Brian Myers and XXXL versus The Rascalz. EC3 will do some funerals for the TNA Championship. Defeat Rohit Raju Challenge will be on. We’ll hear from Rich Swann and his road to recovery. Scott D’Amore is also set to meet Heath in his office to talk business. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…
The Nygma’s Chart of the Week
Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne were on commentary.
- Tommy Dreamer defeated Brian Myers via DQ when Myers used on Dreamer the kendo stick he brought in the ring. Myers attacked the referees and security guards who came to save Dreamer. Scott D’Amore made his way to the ring to stop Myers and was able to. Myers made his way backstage.
- Backstage, Moose was trying to find EC3 in a spa/gym resort. He looked absolutely everywhere, even under the carpets. He then searched in a parking lot and even looked under the cars and into the garbage bin.
- Backstage, John E. Bravo met up with several of his Wrestle House friends to inform them that his wedding is costing him a lot of money, and he needed their help to pay it. No one was very happy about this, Fallah Bahh said it’s his responsibility and he knows where to find some. The Swingman mocked Bahh, and Deaner said if it weren’t for Fallah, Swinger would have to give up his gimmick table money. Swinger and the Deaners started to jaw off at each other and Swinger recruited Crazzy Steve for a match. Everyone was in on the idea, except Bravo who just wanted to know who’s booking the fondue fountain.
- Rohit Raju came to the ring and said that it’s time to gather everyone: the gremlin kids and Ma and Pam Nimrod and let them know the X-Division Champion is here with another opportunity. He said he’s the most sharing, caring and kindest wrestler on the Impact roster. He’s handed out opportunities just like we hand out excuses on how our lives suck. He added it’s not his problem if his opponents can’t take advantage of their opportunities. He’s figured out this chess game has gone from the last resort to the first-round draft pick. And now everyone’s jealous of him, but he’s there to give everyone a chance. Willie Mack answered the Defeat Rohit Raju Challenge. Rohit told Mack he already had his opportunity at Victory Road and they had a great match, but his opportunity is gone and lost. The Defeat Rohit challenge wasn’t for him anymore.
Jordynne Grace made her way to the ring. Even if Rohit refused to compete, the bell was rung and Jordynne officially defeated him to become the new X-Division Champion BUT Raju convinced the referee this match was not for the title. Jordynne won, Rohit remained Champion.
- Backstage, Scott D’Amore congratulated Raju. He said he’s made the most of his opportunity and hasn’t done any ducking and hiding; he’s giving opportunities which are the hardest thing to get in this business. He added Rohit is so giving, and what can he do more; he could give them more opportunities. He announced Raju that at Bound For Glory, he is giving him what he wants, he would face off Willie Mack, TJP, Trey, Chris Bey and Jordynne Grace in a 6-Way Scramble.
- Backstage, Fallah Bahh was looking for Hernandez who was wearing his money around his neck. He wanted another arm-wrestling contest. Fallah had money, Hernandez was ready to compete but Fallah (accidentally) spilt his drink on Hernandez who walked off.
- The Rascalz (Dez & Wentz) defeated XXXL (Larry D & Acey Romero).
- Backstage, Fallah Bahh stole Hernandez’s money while he was under the shower.
- Jimmy Jacobs was at Forman’s Physical Therapy Clinic in Orlando, Florida. He asked Dr Ross Forman how Rich was doing. Forman confirmed not only Swann is ready for Bound For Glory, but he is also ready now. Jimmy wanted to talk to Rich Swann who confirmed he is 100% but Nurse Eric Young attacked him from behind. He attacked Swann’s ankle again and again. He grabbed a kettlebell and smashed Swann’s ankle with it. While Swann was screaming in pain, Young told him to stay out of his way.

- Backstage, The MCMG told Gia Miller all the tag teams are gunning for them, but tonight they have Austin and Fulton. Shelley said Austin reminds him of himself and Madman is a big boy. Sabin added Fulton looks like he’s from the Borderlands video game series, and the Good Brothers interrupted. They said tonight the Guns have Austin and Fulton, but they’ve done that and are undefeated in Impact. Shelley said the Brothers don’t have any tips for them and the Guns are better. Gallows replied he meant what he said when he said there’s a target on their back. They’re going to put a bullet through it, but they will make sure nothing bad happens tonight so they can take the titles at BFG.
- Rosemary & Taya Valkyrie defeated Tasha Steelz & Kiera Hogan. Nevaeh and Havok were watching the match backstage.
- The Deaners defeated Johnny Swinger & Crazzy Steve.
- Backstage, Kylie Rae reacted to what happened on Saturday at Victory Road. She told Gia Miller “Again,” as in she saw it again. She saw it the first time at Victory Road and it happened to Susie who doesn’t do anything to anyone and she couldn’t do anything. Kimber Lee showed up to mock Kylie and asked if her smile is turning upside down. She said Kylie shouldn’t be worried about Susie because all she did was see her own fate. Kimber said she doesn’t know Susie all that well because Susie’s bad. Kylie flipped out and attacked her. She seemed in shock after what she had just done.
- Scott D’Amore told Heath he appreciates his tenaciousness. He said Rhino was right, Heath is a good dude and the right mix for Impact. Heath said he’s busting his butt and got an opportunity; despite his breaking some rules (or bending them), he’s grateful for the opportunity. D’Amore said they want to grow together and put over #Heath4Impact, so it’s time to get something on paper which is always the hard part. Heath had his own deal ready. D’Amore looked it over and said Heath clearly used a lawyer, there was a lot of legalese and a lot of zeros. D’Amore said negotiations are always a give and take as he rolled his sleeves up. He said this is a great base and they’ll have to change a lot including the number because he can’t be serious. He has a great future, but he needed to have done something in the past. He could do that here, and Heath said he knows that. He said D’Amore should appreciate the offer and he’s brought a lot of eyes to the company, so he should look at it again. D’Amore said he doesn’t want to disrespect him, but it’s not like he won an Olympic gold medal. If they sign D’Amore’s offer, they can work toward this. Heath says he may not be an Olympic gold medalist but he wasn’t a Sunday morning jobber either. Heath threw the contract in the air and walked away. Rhino was waiting outside. Heath was angry and blamed Rhino for his failure. He came here on Rhino’s request and he has no contract yet. “Thanks, Terry!”
- EC3 said Moose finally controls his narrative but it is too late. Moose needed to break his attachment to the past and the legacy of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He tossed the belt into the water and said, “Free Moose.”
- Backstage, Ken Shamrock was looking pissed and told Sami Callihan that Eddie Edwards didn’t deserve what happened at Victory Road. Sami said it was business and business is booming, 45 million likes of Shamrock beating Eddie’s ass. Ken said it’s Sami’s thing, not his. Sami said Shamrock is back to his old self and people love it. Sami asked who’s next and shoved Ken, who snapped and grabbed Sami. Sami pointed at a backstage guy and said he’s next. Shamrock beat down the guy’s ass as Sami was encouraging him to.
- Impact World Tag Team Champions The MCMG defeated Ace Austin & Madman Fulton. The North tried to interfere with a chair, the referee asked them to go backstage, The Good Brothers came to take care of them. While The MCMG were posing in the ring, The Good Brothers were looking from the ramp.

Sabin sent Austin down on the mat again with a deep arm drag. Alex Shelley tagged himself in. Sabin held on to Austin so Shelley could land a punt kick. Shelley locked Austin’s wrist up and tagged Sabin back in. MCMG made quick tags to each other. Shelley dropped down on Austin’s arm with a double axe smash. The Weekly “Enigma(s) For a Nygma”
A possible first-ever female X-Division Champion. As soon as the news broke, I rushed on Twitter to see what the reactions were and I was not surprised. If many Impact Wrestling fans, and wrestling fans, are used to the idea of seeing a woman holding a title usually carried by men, there are still some to say male titles are for the men and women’s titles are for the ladies. To these people, remember that last year at Bound For Glory, a woman competed in a Ladder match for the X-Division Championship. She came up short but she became World Champion a few months later. Ask yourself the right question because the good one here is not why, but why not.
The Nygma’s Noticeable Facts of the Week
– Goodbye, belt…
This segment was absolutely stunning, EC3 threw the legacy of a Championship off a bridge, which is something extremely symbolic. Will Moose hire scuba divers like it was suggested on Twitch? Will he swim his title back? Everything is possible. These two guys have reached limits I’ve never expected them too. Now, is this “river” going to lead to Bound For Glory?

– Bound For Glory – Impact X-Division Championship Match
Scott D’Amore is a master of irony. The way he let Rahit Raju think he was right to behave like he has been and then unload the bomb that match is was brilliant. At first, it was easy to think he lost his mind, which was something possible, but he, in fact, caught Raju into his own trap. When you piss off that much people, then you have to face the flames…
.@HakimZane will defend the X-Division Championship against @MegaTJP, @DashingChrisBey, @TheTreyMiguel, @Willie_Mack and @JordynneGrace at Bound For Glory! #IMPACTonAXSTV @ScottDAmore pic.twitter.com/CXj6HRKoos

To be eNYGMAtic…
How to describe an episode like that? A hurricane? A bombing raid? These two hours were so stacked of action, announcements, and rebounds it was difficult to catch your breath back in-between them all. If I rewind, Brian Myers nearly killed Tommy Dreamer, Moose tried to find EC3 and his belt in a garbage bin, Jordynne Grace could become the first woman ever to hold the X-Division Championship, Heath screwed Heath, Scott D’Amore screwed Rahit Raju, Rosemary and Taya tore the house down, Kylie Rae is losing her smile, EC3 threw a title belt off a bridge, Eric Young massacred Rich Swann’s ankle, Sami Callihan is brainwashing Ken Shamrock. This episode was as good as his content was totally unexpected.
However, if Impact Wrestling decided to unload something huge with Jordynne Grace entering the X-Division race, then where do we go? We are 17 days away from Bound For Glory. The card is for the moment made of 4 matches, out of 8 or 9. You know I’m always sceptical when we reach the last days before a PPV. I have always wanted Impact Wrestling to amaze me. They’ve always been good at that. So let’s do it again.
On this “Nygma Just Can’t Wait for BFG” note, take care, stay safe, watch wrestling, until next week, never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
