AEW put on a perfect tribute to Jon Huber after his tragic passing and I cannot praise them enough for the tremendous honour of his memory they achieved.

Jon Huber or “Brodie Lee” as he was known on AEW left an indelible mark on the hearts of both people in the industry and his fans. I was a big fan of Huber as Luke Harper and still quote “I’m a team player” and “yeah, yeah, yeah” to this day.

His time as the Exalted One was short but his swift victory over Cody to win the TNT Championship was one of the most memorable and shocking moments of AEW Dynamite’s whole lifespan. All this without even mentioning his innovative means of turning paper into a loaded weapon on BTE.

It’s heartbreaking to see someone so young leaving behind a loving family and a whole lot of potential that he could have given in his post-WWE career.

You should go watch this show, greave the loss of a great performer and person and don’t be afraid to cry because I certainly did.

From the bottom of my heart, I send my condolences to Huber’s family, friends and fans and I will miss him greatly.
