There’s no secret IMPACT is a taped show so what you see is what was recorded a few days or a few weeks before. Tomorrow, James Storm will face off the man he has wrestled the most in the Impact Zone since their debut. Storm’s 1000th match will also be the 95th time he faces off Eric Young. You could see that match because it was taped.

Sadly, the next time we’ll see Young in a ring is now uncertain as the wrestler himself announced he tore his ACL during IMPACT recent set of tapings, he should be out 6 to 9 months. It seems that Young’s matches from the taping won’t be affected but that he will stop being featured in the ring for Rebellion and upcoming tapings.

Young returned to Impact Wrestling at Slammiversary 2020, signing an exclusive contract with the company. Young snapped at Rich Swann and kicked off a feud between the two that would see Young win the IMPACT World Championship as a slightly unhinged maniac. The feud between Young and Swann was a highlight of IMPACT heading into Bound For Glory.

He has since been the leader of Violent by Design, a faction made of warriors born again through violence. He became a kind of mad scientist who turned Joe Doering, Deaner and recently Rhino into strong, explosive and remorseless monsters. No news yet on how Eric Young’s injury will be included in the recent storylines. Stay tuned to SteelChair Wrestling Magazine for more news on Eric Young and Impact Wrestling.
