Fans will be able to watch the Hana Kimura Memorial Show “MATANE” on FITE TV. The event is scheduled for May 23 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The event will air on May 22 at 10:30 p.m. ET (3.30 PM BST). Ring of Honor‘s Ian Riccaboni and The World Famous CB (fka Cheeseburger) will be supplying the English commentary for the show. The event was organized by Kyoko Kimura, the mother of Hana Kimura.
Fite TV announces on their website the following: “On May 23rd live on FITE is Hana Kimura Memorial “MATANE”. The event will honour the one year anniversary of the untimely passing of Hana Kimura. The memorial evening features wrestlers such as Super Delfin, HUB, Yuko Miyamoto, Munenori Sawa, Kaori Yoneyama, Cherry, Hanako Nakamori, Yuki Miyazaki, VENY(ASUKA), KAGETSU, Mio Momono, Mika Iwata and much more.
Hana, 22, tragically took her own life on May 23, 2020, after being a victim of cyberbullying over an episode of the reality show “Terrace House” where she was portrayed as aggressive during a confrontation with a housemate who ruined her wrestling outfit.
