Right here, right now. Happy Day 135 of 2021. Under Siege, here are some meaningful words… The game is on fire, the players are face-to-face, the assault is coming. Right here, right now, even in your own family, your own camp, your own team, some will always let their egos prevail…
On the menu this week, from Nashville, Tennessee, 2 special 6-Man matches, the first being a 6-Way Match to determine who will face Josh Alexander at Under Siege for the X-Division Championship. The second will be a 3-on-3 match with all the participants in the #1 contender match for the IMPACT World title at Under Siege, with Moose, Sami Callihan and Chris Bey facing off Trey Miguel, Chris Sabin and Matt Cardona. Havok will square off with Rosemary to determine who will face Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Title at Under Siege. Karl Anderson will compete against David Finlay. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…

The Nygma’s Chart of the Week

D’Lo Brown and Matt Striker were on commentary. On ‘Before The Impact’, Tasha Steelz w/ Kiera Hogan defeated Jordynne Grace w/ Rachael Ellering.

  • Havok defeated Rosemary w/ Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus and will face Deonna Purrazzo at Under Siege for the Knockouts Title. After the match, Deonna Purrazzo attacked Havok. Decay made flee Kimber and Susan while Havok hit the piledriver on Deonna in the middle of the ring.
  • Backstage, Kenny Omega, The Good Brothers and Don Callis were with Gia Miller. Anderson was hyped for his match with Finlay, but Omega was confident he can’t do it without him in his corner as the coach.

  • El Phantasmo defeated Petey Williams, Acey Romero w/ Larry D, Ace Austin w/ Madman Fulton and the Super X-Cup, Rohit Raju and TJP to become the new #1 contender for the X-Division Championship. He will face Josh Alexander at Under Siege.
  • Backstage, Susan and Kimber Lee were in Scott D’Amore’s office. They wanted a match with Tenille Dashwood and Taylor Wilde at Under Siege.

  • Backstage, a message from Violent By Design. They wanted the word “failure” to be removed from their dictionary. Eric Young was working on a righteous and violent plan for his team. He saw change coming, and he trusted the outcome will not end up in failure.

  • At Swinger’s Palace, Alisha Edwards was now working for Johnny Swinger after losing all of her money last week. In walked TJP. He wanted to know the odds on who’s going to become the next No. 1 Contenders for FinJuice’s World Tag Team titles. TJP introduced his tag partner, Petey Williams. All the guys from the X-Division match from moments ago brought their partners in and argued on who has the better odds.

  • Willie Mack defeated Sam Beale. After the match, W. Morrissey attacked The Mack.
  • Backstage, FinJuice and Eddie Edwards were with Gia Miller. Finlay promised to pick up a win for Robinson, who lost to Doc Gallows last week. Eddie Edwards was bringing his pal Kenny, the Kendo Stick, out to meet Kenny Omega tonight.

  • “All About Me” hosted by Tenille Dashwood. She was excited to team up with Taylor Wilde this Saturday. Wilde said she will team with Dashwood, but after, she wants to go her own way and focus on becoming the Knockouts Championship.

  • David Finlay w/ Juice Robinson, Eddie Edwards and Kenny the Kendo Stick defeated Karl Anderson w/ Doc Gallows, Kenny Omega and Don Callis. After the match, Kenny Omega attacked Finlay. Big brawl, the baddies bailed.
  • Backstage, Chris Sabin was feeling guilty about not helping James Storm against Moose. Now, James Storm’s leg is injured. He was looking forward to seeing Moose in the tag main event tonight.
  • Backstage, Jordynne Grace was upset she lost before she and Rachael Ellering put their Knockouts Tag Team Championships on the line against Steelz and Kiera Hogan on Saturday. Ellering told Grace to bottle up her anger from tonight’s defeat and apply it towards their upcoming match.

  • Brian Myers defeated Crazzy Steve very professionally (he cheated). After the match, Taurus attacked Myers from behind. Decay posed over Myers’ body.
  • Backstage, Don Callis was with Gia Miller when Scott D’Amore arrived. D’Amore was sick and tired of Callis’ interferences and mind games on his roster. D’Amore told Callis he needs to pick who he stands with: The Impact roster or Kenny Omega.

  • Moose, Sami Callihan and Chris Bey defeated Chris Sabin, Trey Miguel and Matt Cardona when Callihan pinned Sabin. Omega, Callis and The Good Brothers were watching the match from the locker room. After the match, stare down between Moose and Callihan as we saw Omega and The Good Brothers leaving the room.

The Nygma’s Nutcracker(s) of the Week

– 6-Man X-Division fight

They all charged the big man, Romero, who fell to the outside. Petey looked sharp, but Rohit hopped in and took control with a neckbreaker. Acey did some damage with a powerbomb on the apron to Petey. TJP took ELP over with a hurricanrana. ELP jumped on the ropes and strutted across with TJP’s arm. He hurdled Petey, who charged, and walked to Ace Austin on the top rope, before delivering a Death Valley Driver to the outside on everybody.

After the break, Acey was crushing Rohit but Acey and ELP teamed up to end that. Acey went off but Petey came in with a Canadian Destroyer on ELP. Rohit hit his jumping knee but Petey came in again before Acey hit his double jump kick. TJP hung in the ropes while Ace hit a Fosbury Flop over, as Fulton and Larry D were brawling outside. TJP hit the Detonation Kick but missed the Mamba Splash. ELP hit a splash, Petey looked for another Destroyer. ELP rolled through and hit the CR II for the win.

– Moose, Sami Callihan and Chris Bey vs Matt Cardona, Chris Sabin and Trey Miguel

Sami Callihan and Chris Bey-Bey’s entrances were cut because of commercial breaks, that’s a crime… Callihan and Sabin began at a fast pace. Cardona entered the fray quickly, picking up where Sabin left off. Bey jumped in as we took a look at Callis and The Good Brothers backstage watching on. Cardona tagged in Trey, who fell victim to Bey’s flashy work. Trey countered back with a unique pendulum submission but Bey regained the advantage. After the break, Moose was dominating Trey in the corner.

The team took turns working on Trey as Cardona and Sabin looked to get back in. Trey began fighting back against Callihan as they collided. Cardona tagged in and worked on Bey, before handing the action to Sabin. Trey flew onto Moose outside but got caught. He reversed with a hurricanrana into the post. Bey hit a spinebuster on Sabin but got hit with Radio Silence. Moose hit a pump kick on Cardona before getting missile dropkicked by Trey. Callihan hit a Death Valley Driver but ate a running enzuigiri from Sabin. Callihan hit the 23 Enigma piledriver on Sabin for the team win.

The Weekly “Enigma For a Nygma”

Kenny Omega wears the IMPACT and TNA belts on IMPACT, with all his other belts, but not on AEW Dynamite… You have four hours…

The Nygma’s Noticeable Facts/Awards of the Week

– Moose or Sami Callihan?

After the main event of the night, it seemed pretty obvious two men were more potential #1 contenders than the others. The problem is these two men have the biggest egos. When it will be time to confront Kenny Omega’s watermelon ego, there will be probably the best at this game. But when their egos collide… Sami Callihan and Moose have both more than deserved to win/regain the IMPACT World Championship. Then, allies or opponents?

– Scott D’Amore

“The Impact roster or Kenny Omega,” how long have I been waiting to hear that sentence… Thanks, Scott…

Under Siege

The card is complete. I think now that all I can say to you is… See you tomorrow…

Slammiversary

Saturday, July 17… Damn, I’m relieved… Why? I’ll tell you why soon…

To be eNYGMAtic…

I will be short, first because I’m super tired, as always, second because that was a very good go-home episode. The main event showed a talented collection of guys that are going to put on good matches together, so Under Siege should be no different. Turning the X-Division match participants into teams was pretty smart and showed at the same time the company is missing teams but it can also create some pretty easily. In-between, we can argue on the filler matches, like in most go-home shows, but all in all, it was a great episode to watch.
On this “Nygma Seriously Lacks Sleep” note, until Under Siege, until next week (if I want), take care, stay safe, go get vaccinated, watch wrestling, and never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
