Right here, right now. Happy Day 149 of 2021. Against All Odds, expect the absolute unexpected to happen and to come. Whenever, whatever, wherever. Right here, right now. Whoever has a name…
On the menu this week, from Nashville, Tennessee, Josh Alexander will team up with Petey Williams against TJP and Fallah Bahh. We’ll see a 5 vs 5 Knockouts Match. Satoshi Kojima will make his first steps into the Impact Zone. We’ll also hear from Sami Callihan and VBD. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…

The Nygma’s Chart of the Week

D’Lo Brown and Josh Mathews (Matt Striker will be back soon) were on commentary. On ‘Before The Impact’, Eddie Edwards defeated Sam Beale.

  • Sami Callihan sat down in the ring and told us he is fed up with Omega and The Good Brothers and stood his ground. He invited them to the ring but Moose’s music hit. Moose reminded Sami that he earned his title shot for Against All Odds. Sami gave him credit but pointed out that Callis has targeted him rather than Moose, making him the bigger threat. The Good Brothers came out to interrupt. Gallows and Anderson told Sami to scram as they align themselves with Moose. The feeling wasn’t mutual as Moose laid out Gallows and Sami tried to piledrive Anderson.

  • The Good Brothers ran backstage to Callis who ensured that he’s still EVP at IMPACT. He grabbed a pencil and booked Anderson and Gallows against Moose and Sami Callihan tonight.

  • Backstage, Gia Miller was questioning Don Callis if he still has the authority to make matches. Scott D’Amore approached, shocked that he booked a match, but rolled with it as Callis has to get Omega ready for something.

  • TJP & Fallah Bahh defeated X-Division Champion Josh Alexander & Petey Williams.
  • Backstage, W. Morrissey was with Gia Miller, ranting about the fake people in the industry. He looked back on the time he had a seizure at an event, where fans opted to take their phones out and record rather than calling 911. Now that he is on his feet, people are trying to be on his team but he rides alone. He pointed out that Swann saved Willie last week, not because they are friends but because he knew the fans expect it. Morrissey made it clear that there are no friends in this industry as Rich Swann superkicked him out of nowhere. They brawled and were pulled apart.

  • Vignette on the Knockouts Division.
  • Backstage, Rosemary, Havok, Tenille Dashwood and Rachael Ellering were backstage with Gia Miller looking for Taylor Wilde. Jordynne Grace approached as they asked her to fill in. She reluctantly accepted.

  • Rosemary, Havok, Tenille Dashwood w/ Kaleb with a K, Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering defeated Kiera Hogan, Tasha Steelz, Deonna Purrazzo, Susan and Kimber Lee. Rosemary hit the AK47 and pinned Deonna.
  • Backstage, Josh Alexander was challenging anyone for a shot at his belt, and after TJP pinned him, he has earned his shot. TJP approached, confirming his interest in a shot. D’Amore came in and booked them in a 60-Minute Iron Man match for BTI next week before IMPACT (BTI can be watched for free on Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, etc.)

  • Rohit Raju and Jake Something got a nice video package looking at their personal relationship over the years. It was revealed that they will have a tables match.

  • Violent By Design came to the ring. EY looked back on assembling VBD. Picking Doering from Japan, finding a sick Deaner and healing him, and reviving The War Machine. Their strategy to gain the belts was well thought out and “by design”. EY claimed to take over the world as Kojima made his debut entrance. Kojima entered the ring and stared down Doering. He called him out for Against All Odds. And left.

  • Backstage, Dr Ross E. Forman informed Gia Miller that Matt Cardona will be out of action for 12 weeks, thanks to Brian Myers’ brutal attack on him last week. Myers arrived and decided to show Sam Beale how to be more professional.

  • Backstage, Joe Doering accepted Satoshi Kojima’s challenge from earlier. VBD met Decay, Deaner and Crazzy Steve beefed.

  • Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus w/ Rosemary defeated Johnny Swinger & Hernandez w/ Alisha.
  • Backstage, Callis was telling The Good Brothers what to do before their match.
  • The Good Brothers defeated Sami Callihan & Moose. Moose pump-kicked Sami, who returned the favour, despite a good team effort. Moose replied with a huge Lights Out Spear on Callihan and gave the win to The Good Brothers.

The Weekly “Enigma For a Nygma”

Gia Miller is the star of IMPACT this week… And she’s not even wrestling…

The Nygma’s Noticeable Facts/Awards of the Week

– Moose/Sami Callihan/Deonna Purrazzo/Josh Alexander

When the Champions are defeated, the enemies unable to be friends, that smells smoke for upcoming Championship matches…

– BTI 60-minute Iron Man match

Only the 10th in the history of the company and the first 60-minute ever. What to say… See you next Thursday at midnight GMT.

Against All Odds

Two new matches made, with Kojima targeting his “old friend” Joe Doering and Rosemary becoming the #1 contender as she pinned Deonna Purrazzo in the 5 vs 5 Knockouts match. Expect a card of 8 or 9 matches, as usual, so way more surprises to come.

To be eNYGMAtic…

What a way to celebrate my fourth anniversary… If I wanted to be mean, I would have found a ton of reasons to strike. But I won’t play that game. Obviously, that was not the greatest episode of the year, mostly after last week’s. Action-wise, that was missing the usual spice. In fact, which explains the title, this was a “more on the mic” episode of IMPACT, happening mostly backstage and through in-ring promos. Kojima said 3 words and that was enough to build a storyline. W. Morrissey was impactful.
Two weeks before Against All Odds and seven before Slammiversary, things seem going at the right pace. I think… The great unknown in our equation is the wrestlers who will come back or debut at Slammiversary. They could totally change the game…
On this “Nygma Is Going to Bed” note, until next week (if I want), take care, stay safe, go get vaccinated, watch wrestling, and never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
