With most of the country opening back up, the 2021-22 touring schedule has been green-lit. League officials are working on filling out the next 12 months with events featuring TV tapings, special events and more. “We’ll be opening up new arenas in new cities,” said MLW CEO Court Bauer. “A lot of this was in the mix for 2020 and we’re happy to now hit the ground running as we build out the schedule for the next year.”

With the 2021 Opera Cup, a rumoured SuperFight and several other big cards being plotted, Major League Wrestling expect to roll out several new dates events in the weeks ahead. MLW welcomes fans back to arenas with the July 10 card hosted by the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The card will operate at full capacity.

The owner and proprietor of Azteca Underground, Cesar Duran, has confirmed he will be in attendance Saturday, July 10th in Philadelphia for the Battle Riot III at the 2300 Arena. Following the shocking season finale of MLW FUSION, Cesar Duran has emerged as the most talked-about power player in professional wrestling. What does “El Jefe” have planned when he makes his first live public appearance on July 10 in Philadelphia at the 2300 Arena?

Battle Riot is a mash-up of a battle royal, royal rumble and anything goes street fight, this super-sized main event will feature 40 wrestlers with new participants entering the ring every 60 seconds. Elimination is by pinfall, submission or by throwing an individual over the top rope. The winner gets a World Heavyweight Title Shot anywhere, anytime. As of today, National Openweight Champion Hammerstone is the only participant announced.
