Round Seven of the MLW 2021 Open Draft featured returning wrestlers and a new arrival, revealed exclusively by Alicia Atout. After announcing that Jordan Oliver and Kit “Rip Von Erich” Osbourne were back on July 10 as part of the roster, she revealed Matt Cross was drafted by Azteca Underground. After this round, it seems like 6 spots remain free in the MLW roster, as seen on their website.

Cross made his original MLW debut back in 2004 with the promotion and under the Lucha Underground banner as Son of Havoc. Now he’ll be wrestling once again under the watchful eye of the formerly known Dario Cueto come next Saturday evening in Philadelphia during their Battle Riot III event.

Cross was recently seen on the bigger stage during the NWA Hard Times PPV in which he competed in the National TV Title tournament and was also well known for his time on WWE Tough Enough. As noted by Atout in the video, he has wrestled and won titles in nearly 30 countries around the world.
