Right here, right now. Happy Day 224 of 2021. Episode 32 of the year 2021. “Five little Soldier Boys going in for law; One got in Chancery and then there were four. Four little Soldier Boys going out to sea; A red herring swallowed one and then there were three. Three little Soldier Boys walking in the zoo; A big bear hugged one and then there were two. Two little Soldier Boys sitting in the sun; One got frizzled up and then there was one.” Right here, right now. “One little Soldier Boy left all alone;” He was able to rule the wrestling world.
On the menu this week, from Nashville, Tennessee, Chris Bey and Jay White will face off FinJuice. X-Division Champion Josh Alexander will compete against Daivari. Tenille Dashwood will square off with Taylor Wilde. And 20 men will enter a #1 contender Battle Royal to win a chance to face the IMPACT World Champion at Emergence. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…

The Nygma’s Chart of the Week

D’Lo Brown and Matt Striker were on commentary. On ‘Before The Impact’, Sam Adonis defeated Joeasa.

  • Tenille Dashwood w/ Kaleb with a K defeated Taylor Wilde. The referee was hair-sprayed in the eyes, Madison Rayne attacked Taylor Wilde. Rayne and Dashwood hugged after the match.

  • Promo for the #1 contender match, with Eddie Edwards, Sami Callihan, Moose, Chris Sabin, Johnny Swinger, Brian Myers, Willie Mack, Rich Swann, No Way (but still not José), among many others.
  • X-Division Champion Josh Alexander defeated Daivari. Jake Something was watching the match from the ramp. After the match, he came to the ring, grabbed the belt, starred at Alexander, and left.
  • Vignette on Omega vs Cage match.

  • Backstage, The Good Brothers talked about how they’re running amock. At Emergence, they’ll defend against Eddie Edwards & Rich Swann and Violent by Design. VBD interrupted. Eric Young said this place doesn’t belong to them, it belongs to us. Gallows wanted to know what combination it will be. He wanted some of Joe Doering next week.

  • Kiera Hogan came to the ring and called out Tasha Steelz. There were some issues last week she needed to touch on. Fire ‘N Flava were always supposed to be better than that. She thought Tasha Steelz was a real one and understood her better than anybody. Instead, Tasha got a big goofy ass friend to do her dirty work. Kiera laid the challenge down to send her ass packing. Su Yung made her way to the ring with Kimber Lee. She attacked Kiera, Su made her way to the ring, put her glove on, Mandible Claw on Hogan. Kimber Lee brought Kiera backstage.

  • Backstage, Kenny and Don weren’t too happy with what’s going on. A lot of people are jealous, but it goes beyond jealousy when they follow them to AEW, screwing them by making them wrestle Christian for the Impact title in AEW. Skullduggery & Dullskruggery. Tony Khan and Scott D’Amore have their egos bruised. Don Callis wrote the book on machinations. They’re bringing a knife to a gunfight. Don and Kenny will have that Impact title for the rest of their lives. Kenny said TK can buy as many names as he needs. He’s made of different stuff. He didn’t want to hear a peep from anybody. He wasn’t afraid of hard work.

  • FinJuice defeated Chris Bey & Jay White via DQ when White attacked Finlay with a chair.

  • Backstage, Tasha Steelz, with Savannah Evans, told Gia Miller, after a year, the heat wave was winding down, so somebody had to go, and it wasn’t going to be Tasha. She needed to make some changes, so she brought the meanest and baddest person she knew, Savannah Evans. Fallah Bahh came in since he needs some help against Decay. Tasha had a problem with them as well since they’re holding her titles.

  • Backstage, Melina told Gia Miller she never thought she would be part of something where so many promotions would be working together for something involving women. Deonna Purrazzo thought her gratefulness is pathetic. She’s still training and she’s been working with an Invicta FC champion. Melina agreed that Deonna is amazing. She spoke to Impact officials, and next week Melina will have a match to show what Deonna is in store for at Empowerrr.

  • Christian Cage told Alex Marvez Kenny Omega has a nice collection of belts going, but he will beat Kenny for all of those belts. Next week, Christian will be back in the Impact Zone for the first time in ages. His history there runs deep. He became a better wrestler because of his time there. The right thing to do would be for him to take the title off of Kenny and come back as the Impact World Champion. The winner of the battle royal tonight will need to deal with him.

  • John Skyler defeated Matt Cardona, with a little help from Shera and Raju.

  • Brian Myers won the #1 Contender Battle Royal and will compete against Kenny Omega at Emergence. The 20 participants were Eddie Edwards, Moose, Chris Sabin, Sami Callihan, Johnny Swinger, Brian Myers, Willie Mack, Rich Swann, No Way, Deaner, Sam Beale, Rhino, Fallah Bahh, Trey Miguel, Madman Fulton, Ace Austin, Petey Williams, W. Morrissey and Hernandez.

The Nygma’s Nutcracker(s) of the Week

– FinJuice (David Finlay & Juice Robinson) vs. Chris Bey & Jay White

Finlay and White started. Finlay hit a dropkick, followed White outside but White took over, stomped him down in the corner. Bey was tagged in but ate an elbow. Juice tagged in, hit a senton and tried to snatch the pattern. White interfering, Bey took advantage with an elbow drop off the top. White worked Juice over on the outside and hit a neckbreaker. Bey was tagged in and kept the advantage, then tagged in White back. A big whip into the turnbuckle was followed by some double teaming. Bey connected and abdominal stretch. Juice hit a hip toss out, tried to hit a senton but ate knees in the back instead. Juice connected with a vertical suplex and both men tagged out. Finlay had the advantage but missed in the corner. Finlay tagged Bey who ate a back suplex. Tag to Juice, atomic drop, kick into a Russian leg sweep. Juice continued with some jabs to Bey. White came in to eat the big blow, Finlay got clotheslined White over the top. They hit the Doomsday Device to Bey but White interrupted the count with a chair for the DQ.

The Weekly “Enigma For a Nygma”

Retired: stopped competing. Someone can explain that to Madison Rayne?

The Nygma’s Noticeable Facts/Awards of the Week

– And if…

I listened to Christian Cage like you and I was very surprised to hear him talk about Impact Wrestling with so much respect. If someone kicked the forbidden door the first, it’s Cage… So if he has to be the one who will bring back the IMPACT gold to the family, I say ok.

– Battle Royal aftermaths

If I watched the episode correctly, Taylor Wilde will have to find a partner because Tenille found the perfect one. Rohit Raju has a problem with Matt Cardona. There’s something in the air between Ace Austin and Sami Callihan. And Moose and Chris Sabin’s feud is way far from over… Good things…

Emergence

Four matches as of now (no graphic for World Championship match).

To be eNYGMAtic…

If it wasn’t a bad episode, it was a good advertisement for AEW Rampage, NJPW Resurgence, and NWA upcoming All-Women PPV… You know what I think of the cross-promotional thing so I will stop the song here. But, right now, everything we know is the future of IMPACT is in the hands of NWA, AEW and AAA. If Christian Cage defeats Kenny Omega tonight at AEW Rampage, we have a new World Champion. If Faby Apache defeats Deonna Purrazzo at TripleMania this Saturday, we have a new Knockouts Champion.
Something that should not happen as Melina is set to compete against Deonna Purrazzo at NWA Empowerrr, on August 28, but that still means we could have soon a new Knockouts Champion. Impact Wrestling is taping new episodes this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, obviously. Which means the future is not even written yet.
On this “Nygma Will Soon Be Forbidden Too” note, until next week (if I want), take care, stay safe, go get vaccinated, watch wrestling, and never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
