The Nygma’s Chart of the Week
D’Lo Brown and Matt Striker were on commentary. On ‘Before The Impact’, Savannah Evans helped Tasha Steelz steal the win on Havok w/ Rosemary.
- Gia Miller and Josh Mathews were ready to welcome the new IMPACT World Champion but Eddie Edwards and W. Morrissey feuded in the ramp and at ringside. Sami Callihan and his baseball bat came to save Eddie, security stopped Morrissey.
- Chris Sabin & Sami Callihan defeated Moose & Ace Austin. Sabin tagged himself in the match when Callihan was about to end up the match. So Callihan hit the Cactus Piledriver on Sabin after the match.

- NJPW Resurgence segment, followed by The Good Brothers’ comments. Anderson and Gallows crowed about their win over Moxley and Nagata, saying beating up Moxley is their favourite thing. Gallows talked about how Monster’s Ball put Impact on the map and they have two monsters in Gallows and Doering. They added it’s VbD’s fault that they’re in a triple threat match at Emergence, but will win regardless.

- Backstage, Sami Callihan said that was fun and he wanted Sabin and him to be best friends, but he poked the lion and after the bell, he was fair game. Callihan said he did what he promised to do in taking a piece out of Omega every week and the World Champion is welcome. Eddie Edwards came in and said that he didn’t need Sami’s help and they argued before Sami walked off.
Just because they teamed together one time doesn't make @TheSamiCallihan and @TheEddieEdwards friends. #IMPACTonAXSTV pic.twitter.com/odZmDUB1H1

- Matt Cardona w/ Chelsea Green defeated Shera w/ Rohit Raju. Raju tried to interfere but Green took care of Raju outside the ring with a big slap.
- “Locker Room Talk” is back, as are Madison Rayne and Johnny Swinger. Guest Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb with a K. Madison asked why Tenille chose to align with her, and Tenille said they’ve been looking for the perfect partner for her for the tag team titles, and said it’s ironic because Rayne was her first partner. Rayne said maybe it was kismet, and Tenille replied that’s what she was thinking. She read her favourite quote about things coming full circle. Kaleb said “OMG” and Swinger thought he means One Man Gang. Tenille told Rayne they’re more than just influencers; they’re “The Influence.” Swinger mocked Kaleb for being attacked by D’Amore and they went back and forth. Tenille and Madison told Kaleb to stick up for himself, and he went to do just that to D’Amore. Rayne and Tenille sweet-talked each other to end the segment.

- Backstage, X-Division Champion Josh Alexander told Gia Miller he was not afraid to face a bigger and stronger opponent in Jake Something. Alexander said he’ll be the face of this company moving forward and has been saying it since Omega was champion. He said things have changed and Christian is champion, but he won’t carry the banner in the future. Jake showed up, he wasn’t concerned no matter how big Jake is. Jake said he’ll give him a reason to be concerned and walked over to where Kaleb was arguing with Scott D’Amore for a chance to compete. Jake wanted a match and Scott said they don’t just have catering full of talent. Jake vs. Kaleb was on for tonight and in a No DQ match.

- IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage was back in the Impact Zone. The crowd chanted “Welcome back!” Christian said they’re going to make him blush, and it’s good to be back in the Impact Zone for the first time in nine years. He was feeling the nostalgia and said it isn’t lost on him that he’s back as Impact World Champion. And even though he wrestles for AEW, it was an honour to take the titles from Omega and bring them back to the Impact Zone where they belong. He talked about how he left WWE and took a chance on himself years ago, and Impact took a chance on him. They gave him a shot and let him compete for titles, which is all he ever wanted. Talking about his history with Impact has him thinking that it isn’t about his history anymore. He talked to Scott D’Amore and the rest and they agreed it’s time to retire the TNA Championship because it’s not about his history or his past; it’s about the future and this Impact World Title. So as of now, the Impact World Championship is recognized as the biggest prize in the company.

- Christian Cage said that as Impact Champion it’s time to get down to business. That brought out Myers, who mocked Christian being part of Impact’s past and referenced Shark Boy and others who are maybe coming out. He stepped in the ring and said it’s lovely and he has all the feels, but he doesn’t live in the past and isn’t here to talk about the past. He said he’s the #1 contender and for a year he’s been killing it in Impact, backstage, on social media, and he’s even the best podcaster in the company. And at Emergence, that new shiny belt belongs to him. Christian said he’s glad Myers finally climbed out of Cardona’s shadow and showed his face. He mocked Myers’ pose and jacket and said Myers has always been full of talent but never known how to realize it until now. But there’s a saying: you’ve gotta learn how to lose before you lose how to win. And Myers may have won the battle royal but hasn’t won anything yet. Myers may be the Most Professional Wrestler, but he’s the Best Professional Wrestler. They faced off and Myers faked out, then pushed Beale into Christian. Christian took him out and Myers bailed.
"You might be the most professional wrestler but…I am the best professional wrestler."

The Nygma’s Nutcracker(s) of the Week
– Chris Sabin & Sami Callihan vs Moose & Ace Austin
Sami and Ace started off, Ace hit a couple of arm drags. Ace said, “Sabin can wrestle, get him in here!” And Sami decked him as a result. Off the ropes with a body block, he came off again, Austin leapfrogged but was caught and hit with a DVD. Short-arm clothesline by Callihan, Sabin tagged in and hit a snapmare on Ace, followed by a kick to the back. Elbow lock and Sami tagged in, he kicked Ace in the back and Sabin wanted in now, saying he can do better. Sabin connected with a snapmare and he kicked Austin’s back. Sabin climbed up and hit five mounted punches in the corner before getting shoved off, Austin with a spinning kick missed and Sabin kicked him in the head. Ace slid off Sabin’s shoulders and whipped him across the ring, Sabin slid out and tripped Moose, he came in and got kicked hard.
The Weekly “Enigma For a Nygma”
We build the future on the past, obviously. The TNA title is a remembrance of things past, but things that allow us now to be proud to support Impact Wrestling. Christian is the new IMPACT World Champion who takes pride in being a former 3-time TNA Champion. Let’s enjoy the present…
The Nygma’s Noticeable Facts/Awards of the Week
– A Nygma Is Always Right…
“I listened to Christian Cage like you and I was very surprised to hear him talk about Impact Wrestling with so much respect. If someone kicked the forbidden door the first, it’s Cage… So if he has to be the one who will bring back the IMPACT gold to the family, I say ok.” I said those words last week, and I was right. I’ve never said I didn’t want people to come in the Impact Zone, but only if they come with their heart and the passion the Impact Zone put into them. To come, you have to know it, respect it and love it.
