Right here, right now. Happy Day 238 of 2021. Episode 34 of the year 2021. Right here, right now. “Everybody’s got to live together. All the people got to understand. So, love your neighbour, Like you love your brother. Come on and join the band.” Right here, right now. Let the concept of Emergence show the best of each of you and all of you.
On the menu this week, from Nashville, Tennessee, Chris Sabin will face off Sami Callihan. Chris Bey will square off with David Finlay. The Good Brothers will fight Rich Swann and Willie Mack in a non-title match. Taylor Wilde will have to deal with The Influence in a Handicap Match. And IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage will be back in the Impact Zone. So no more words, let’s get ready for some action, but your French Enygma Steph way, of course…

The Nygma’s Chart of the Week

D’Lo Brown and Matt Striker were on commentary. On ‘Before The Impact’, Steve Maclin defeated TJP in an Open Challenge Match. Petey Williams got involved and cost TJP the win.

  • Chris Sabin defeated Sami Callihan. After the match, Moose tossed Sabin and floored Callihan with a Spear. He looked to recreate Callihan’s famous Eddie Edwards spot, grabbing a chair and a bat. Eddie hit the ring with Kenny and made the save, standing tall with Callihan.

  • Backstage, Taylor Wilde told Gia Miller she was looking to seek vengeance in a 3-on-1 Handicap match against The Influence (Madison Rayne, Tenille Dashwood & Kaleb) tonight.

  • Backstage, Sami Callihan caught up with Eddie who told him that he won’t be his buddy going forward.

  • In the ring, Mickie James was looking forward to NWA Empowerrr. Deonna vs. Melina’s video package got aired before the Champion herself appeared, with the Drama King. Deonna still felt threatened as she blamed Mickie for taking her spotlight. Deonna predicted an easy victory at Empowerrr against Melina. Things got heated between the two as Rehwoldt stepped in. Trey Miguel made the run down and took out Rehwoldt. Deonna and Mickie continued to brawl before Melina put an end to it.

  • Backstage, Brian Myers was teaching Sam Beale more on how to be the most professional wrestler. This week’s lesson has to do with their gear. Beale thought Myers is deflecting following his loss to Christian Cage last Friday.

  • Chris Bey defeated David Finlay. He pinned him with the feet on the ropes.

  • Backstage, Rich Swann and Willie Mack were ok with losing at Emergence because they weren’t the ones pinned. They were prepared to go to war with The Good Brothers for another shot at the Impact World Tag Team titles.
  • Backstage, X-Division Champion Josh Alexander told Gia Miller, next week, he is going to issue an Open Challenge. He welcomes all former X-Division champions to step up to him.

  • Christian Cage was happy to get his first defence back against Myers but was now focused on Ace Austin. IMPACT Special Consultant Tommy Dreamer now made his way down the ramp. Christian joked about his new hairdo. Dreamer was happy that Christian is now representing the company. They embraced. Dreamer expressed interest in challenging Christian.

  • Ace Austin made his entrance with Madman Fulton. He promised to win at Victory Road. Christian commented on his height and they brawled it out. Ace and Fulton headed up the ramp as Dreamer and Christian teamed up.

  • Backstage, Eric Young told Rhino that, because of him, Violent By Design lost another World Tag Team title reign. Young asked Rhino if he’s ready to get cleansed in the holy waters of change.

  • Backstage, Ace Austin and Madman Fulton approached EVP Scott D’Amore about a match for next week. Austin wanted Tommy Dreamer. D’Amore granted it to him. But there’s a stipulation: if Dreamer wins their bout, he’ll be added to the Impact World Title match at Victory Road.

  • The Influence (Madison Rayne, Tenille Dashwood & Kaleb with a K) defeated Taylor Wilde. After the match, the beatdown continued but Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering came to make the save.
  • Backstage, Brandi Lauren was talking to Gia Miller about her comeback but the lights turned red, Su Yung and Kimber Lee dragged her with them.

  • Backstage, TJP told Gia Miller he was furious that he took the loss on BTI. Petey Williams came in the frame. TJP wanted to make it clear that he does not have an alliance with him. TJP refused to thank Williams for saving him tonight. Williams agreed that from this point forward, they’ll stay out of each other’s way.

  • Backstage, Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green called out Rohit Raju and Shera. They wanted all of them to have a tag match next week.

  • Backstage, Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans told Gia Miller Fallah Bahh ruined their shot at becoming top contenders for Knockouts Tag Team titles. Bahh and No Way came in and promised they’ll make it up to them.

  • Rich Swann & Willie Mack defeated IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers. After the match, The Good Brothers hoisted Swann up in the Magic Killer position. Willie Mack slid back in and made the save. The Good Brothers kept Swann and Mack down. They launched Swann into a chair that was set up between the ropes and the ring post. They hit Magic Killer on Mack before throwing him out of the ring and powerbombing Mack through the table. The Good Brothers retreated.

The Nygma’s Nutcracker(s) of the Week

– Sami Callihan vs Chris Sabin

Sabin swarmed Callihan with a suicide dive. They traded shots outside. Callihan brought him in with a powerbomb. Sabin fired back with a kick on the apron and a nice backslide. Callihan sent him into the post with a powerbomb. Sabin continued to fight on but Callihan neutralized him in the corner. Callihan mocked Sabin as he headbutted him on a relentless attack. Sabin got rough, strangled the eyes and hit a tornado DDT. They traded pump kicks before Callihan scored another headbutt. Callihan landed his Cactus Special but Sabin kicked out. Sabin broke away and landed a Cradle Shock for the win.

The Weekly “Enigma For a Nygma”

Christian joked on Tommy Dreamer’s hairdo… I’m sorry but since last Sunday, the ponytail has never been more trendy…

The Nygma’s Noticeable Facts/Awards of the Week

– We Used Not To Being Friends…

I won’t remind you of the long story between Eddie and Sami, it’s been more than 3 years now that they never miss a reason to square off. Now that they try to help each other, obviously, it’s pretty new for them, that’s unusual… These two are becoming aware of the fact that they might hate each other as much as they can, they’re something that makes of us, as a team, something brilliant. They could rule the world together… We, the fans, have been thinking this way for so long…

Victory Road

One match only for the moment, and up to change next week. We still have 3 weeks to build up the rest of the card…

To be eNYGMAtic…

I won’t be extremely long. Emergence was a very good iPPV. His fallout made the job of closing the right chapters and opening the good ones. Not a false note in this episode that was starting to set the tone of Victory Road.
On this “Nygma Is Still As Red As On Friday” note, until next week (if I want), take care, stay safe, go get vaccinated, watch wrestling, and never EVER forget to stay #eNYGMAtic…
